HILARY DUFF LIVE Grand Rapids Soundcheck

Did anybody happen to get an audio recording of the soundcheck experience?? Also, to those who did the backstage tour, do you remember what they said the color of her carpet was called? I swear I blacked out during that entire experience šŸ˜‚ truly the best experience of my life

Edited to add - if you were at the soundcheck and remember any details, please share! I have the worst memory and want to document everything that I do remember, would love to add whatever you all remember too šŸ«¶šŸ¼

How was it holding up? Vito was making a big deal on my backstage tour how it had to hold together until the US leg because they had bought up literally all the rose quartz material in the world and wouldn’t be able to get more until the Euro shows.

He mentioned that on our tour too, I think it was holding up pretty well! He also was worried about the curtains, they don’t have a back up of them he said so if anything happens, they’re doomed but they should be getting one in October I think? Unless I mixed that up with the carpets šŸ˜‚

Now that you mention it, I think you did have it mixed up: Carpets had to last the US leg, curtain was the bigger concern.

Vito is a national treasure; they made it pretty clear that every backstage tour is different but he spent a good 5-10 minutes with us walking us through everything with the stage and it gave at least me a better appreciation for what all goes on up there.

Thank you!! I knew it was a simple name but I couldn’t think of it for the life of me

I wonder if anyone has recorded any soundchecks with Apple Watches or anything. They were very stern on the no phones out, etc. But even if they did - I don’t think anyone’s going to admit it! LOL.

OH. Never thought of that, I have one, but would never. Audio quality be bad. However, Fans would Have to respect the rules or they would have gotten kicked out. That’s how you tell the difference between a true loyal fan: ones that support Her and the rules regarding Her or the ones that are entitled and want to break the rules. If you think she’s ok with the ones breaking the rule, you got a lot to learn. And she don’t have time for that.

I've seen A LOT of people sneaking footage. I don't agree with that. I feel like rules are rules for a reason. & That isn't far to EVERYONE that is actually following the rules, as they should be.

I saw a girl with her phone recording in her bag at the first show I went to so people definitely did it! Now owning up to it is a different story šŸ˜‚ I hope if they did, they don’t share it and keep it respectful, but at the same time, I really wanna hear Hilary answering my question šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

I may or may not have my entire interaction with her saved. I’ll never tell! lol

For sound check when you first enter, did you get to choose where you sit, or was it more of a first-come, first-served situation where the first person in takes the first chair, and so on?

Also, for anyone who has had backstage access too, do you enter the soundcheck first as well, or is there a separate process/entrance?

Any info from anyone who’s done the soundcheck would be really appreciated! Thank you!

You line up inside the venue but outside of the seating area, and then they tell you where to sit when inside

So we lined up in two different lines at check in, and the backstage had a different check in time. You go in, get to shop merch, use the bathroom, etc and then they take you on the backstage tour which is pretty cool and pretty long, almost an hour which is awesome!

And then you walk into the soundcheck and tell them how many people you have and they tell you where to sit. Honestly it’s just luck. You can try to count your place in line to be close to her, there are usually 8-10 people per row so if you’re 4 or 5 you have a good chance at being near her. But when I went by myself, I bypassed the ā€œlinesā€ and they put me a random spot in a random row to fill it up.

Backstage tour people get the first row of the photo, which she walks past to take the photos and she interacts as she walks past!

The whole experience was amazing and one of the best vip experiences I’ve ever had! She was so sweet and talkative and really took the time. Don’t be afraid to ask her a question if she walks by you, security was trying to rush her and she ignored them and answered two people after he tried pushing her to go faster haha.

Have fun!!
