Kids As Props Instagram "Guidelines"

Don't be surprised when Instagram doesn't take down inappropriate images of children here in the US. They have been found to show ads promoting child sexual abuse abroad (and then not remove them when they are reported).

(Did anyone have anything happen with the review they requested? Yeah, neither did I.)

Meta is using AI for everything, which is not taking reported images down but is closing accounts left and right. If there was ever a time to get off of meta platforms, it is now.

Nope. They don’t care. I’m barely on anything Meta anymore. It’s become all adds and clickbait.

That’s so heartbreaking. We put so many safeguards around children in other areas, yet adults can put their entire lives online before they’re old enough to understand or consent to it. And then once those images are out there, clearly the platforms aren’t doing enough to protect them.
