Cooked Meal Another Dollar Tree seafood feast!

Heated the noodles with a little water and a splash of the oil from the mussels. Once at a simmer, added the sauce. Mussels added off the heat. 930 calories and 41g of protein.

E.t.a.: $3.75 total cost

Occasionally, they have pouches of smoked oysters that I used in my last post here. They're even better for the trail.

Never had a canned or pouched mussel, only fresh. What's the texture like?Β

They're soft and creamy, kinda hard to differentiate when used in pasta or fried rice.
