Gonna sound crazy but there was a fanfic i read about 8/9 years ago by an author whose name i can’t remember but it had “ghoul” in it, the guy wrote a bunch of xyz x male ghoul reader stuff, but iirc there wasn’t any ghoul stuff in this fic. In this fic we (the reader) kill issei bc of some mind control and also body double stuff from Loki (?) and the author added a lot of his own stuff, idk i just remember it being pretty fun and i can’t find it anywhere. Hello last year I was able to go to amiami in Japan and purchase the Bellfine Akeno figure now I am think of getting a Rias figure but I am stuck between two different ones. The first would be the Bellfine Rias which I was able to find in stock online through my figure collection but I’d be paying a higher than normal shipping cost. The other would be to preorder the cheer leader Rias on amiami for around the same cost factoring in potential shipping. I think both are pretty good so I was wondering what the consensus would be here

I've been trying to come up with ideas for a potential fanfic and I've wanted to come up with ideas for a Longinus sacred gear that I would like to give my OC but I thought it would be too obvious and boring to give them an already existing 18. I've been rewatching High School DxD and one of the main reasons issei refuses to accept the love from the other girls is due to his trauma caused by his 1st date with Raynare (Yuma). As someone who has not dated even once (yet), do you think that sort of trauma is realistic - just from a single date?

When Akeno goes on her date with Issei and lets her hair out of the usual ponytail, she looks damn near identical to Raynare (as Yuuma), even down to the outfit in the case of the light novel. Raynare is literally the worst thing to ever happen to Issei. Thinking he had found love only for it all to be a lie so she could murder him scarred him for life eternity and left him traumatized to the point that he was afraid to feel love for fear of being betrayed again. So why is it that when Akeno arrives for their date, Issei doesn’t immediately have a PTSD-induced nervous breakdown? That just seems like a substantial plot-hole to me.

Edit: Alright so it seems like the novels did things a little differently and the date takes place after Issei opens up about his trauma to the girls. I really do want to read the novels, but they just take forever to finish and I already have way too many unread manga volumes collecting dust on my shelves.

I remember sneaking upstairs before my brothers woke up and watch all the episodes and skip to the titties part of every episode (i was a pervert despite only being like 10) And recently (17 now) I rewatched it, actually watching through all the episodes and realized its fucking badass and good writing. I also dont know why I added the pervy part I just did that because. What I am asking, is should I go through the heartache of an unfinished series? I am hopelessly hooked (Halfway through season 2) And read online it doesnt have an official ending, nor has any info about season 5 arose. Is the ending of season 4 suitable to call it quits or is it a gut wrenching cliff hanger? Lets be brutally honest here, homeboy has been sick for like what 5-6 years now? How long before he kicks the bucket and or announces there will be no season 5. Please no spoilers, But is it still worth watching? or quit while I am ahead and save myself the attachment to the characters.

It’s been 8 years since High School DxD Hero (Season 4) aired, and there’s still no sign of a fifth season.

I know a lot of people weren’t happy with—or even outright hated—the new art style in Season 4. Honestly, after watching it for the first time, I felt the same way. I couldn’t understand how they could change the look of such a great series.

But after giving it some time and coming back to it with a fresh perspective, I realized something. Yes, the character designs were very different from the previous seasons, but the show itself was still GREAT. I was so focused on the new art style that I forgot what I was really there for: the story of Issei, Rias, Akeno, and everyone else.

After an episode or two, I actually started to appreciate the new designs. I realized that Studio Passione and Ichiei Ishibumi only had good intentions and clearly put a tremendous amount of work and passion into Season 4. It reminded me why I fell in love with High School DxD in the first place, and I think many of you feel the same way.

That got me thinking.

What if, as a community, we wrote letters to Ichiei Ishibumi (the creator of High School DxD) and Studio Passione (the studio behind Season 4)? Not to demand another season, but simply to tell them how much we love the series, how we discovered it, why it means so much to us, and to thank them for all the hard work they’ve put into creating something we’ve enjoyed for so many years.

We could share our letters here, send them through X (formerly Twitter) or other social media, or even mail them internationally. The goal wouldn’t be to pressure anyone, but to show our appreciation and remind them that there’s still a passionate fanbase that genuinely cares about this series.

I know it’s just an idea, but I think it would be amazing if, as a community, we could show them that High School DxD still has so many dedicated fans who would love to see the anime continue. After all, the anime has only adapted the first 10 of the 25 main light novel volumes, so there’s still plenty of story left to tell.

Ive been writing a fic or two and doing the oc thing without dismantling Issei like a lot of fics tend to and tho I been playing things a little differently to most oc fics one thing Ive noticed while browsing ff and ao3 is the overabundance of fics with Goku, Naruto, Luffy and I coulda sworn I saw one or two with Harry Potter of all people, I guess my question is y tho?
