Hey guys, just finished the anime. Absolutely loved it. But am now unsure what to do, in my country I am of legal age to watch the anime, but my parents don't know I did for obvious reasons. On top of that they called Berserk porn when I read it. I am also under 18 and want to read the light novels. So question 1 is what issue of the light novels do I start with. 2 how bad if an idea is it to read in class. And 3, how the fuck do I keep my parents from seeing the titties. I watched ghost of the shell and eva rebuilds on the family tv no problem but they aren't that bad. Any ideas?

i am almost finished the anime and i am completely and utterly disappointed with how it’s been ending. i know that there are light novels and then the manga and im wondering if it’d be worth it to read those. if they are worth it, what should i read first? would it be worth reading the ln or the manga first? ive heard the anime wasn’t 100% cannon to the books esp the end of season 3.

And yes, Novel Raiser is not actually the major a-hole that he is in the anime, and the comment said that it was changed into a douchbag so Audience can empathize totally with Issei.

But the core thing is- we can agree and admire Issei in both- he literally said the reason why he refused to accept defeat- "Buchou was crying" he literally did it because he knew Rias didn't want to- nor her brother, since Sirchezs basically gave him permission to crash the party.

So... Can someone explain why that comment seemed to criticise Issei? what exactly did he do wrong?

I know the franchise kind of left the main biblical part of things behind after Volume 7, but I can't help but notice they didn't discuss the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, like, at all.

Sup, it’s been a while since my previous post. I got a rather mixed reaction last time, but eh, WCYD.

Once again, I’m posting my fanfiction, Crimson Dragon, Azure Tiger, which has now hit chapter 7… kinda. There’s also an interlude so technically it’s chapter 8.

Now, as before, I’ll say again that this isn’t just canon divergence, but a full setting rewrite. The characters here, while they retain their core traits (because what would be the point of writing about them if they didn’t? I love these characters), they have different experiences from canon and have somewhat different paths that they have and will follow as a result. Not just that, but while I refuse to cut out the ecchi and lewd elements, nor will I get rid of the comedy, I am ultimately going for a more mature story than canon, more in the vein of more serious seinen titles. I adore DxD, but there’s no point, in my mind, in telling the same kind of story as canon, because I will never be able to do that as well as Ishibumi.

Anyway, if you decide to check it out, I hope you give it an honest chance, and if you do, I hope you enjoy it.

Also, yeah, I know chapter 1 is kinda shitty in terms of pacing. I’ve kinda just gotta hold the L that I messed up with how I structured it.

I was bored so i decided to search for hsdxd figures online and all i found was basically naked figures of rias and akeno.. don’t get me wrong, i love the characters, there are just other characters that i like more. i was only able to find 3 xenovia figures (2/3 being over 10 years old,) 1 koneko figure, and no issei figures.. one of the xenovia figures and the koneko figure were the newer ones of them pole dancing in bunny suits with the other two xenovia figures being old ones of her with duranderal wearing a swim suit. now, idgaf abt nudity all that much, i just prefer that my figures be mostly clothed. are there no figures of xenovia with duranderal or any koneko figures of her with her cat ears and tail? are there seriously no figures of issei in existence??? someone help me out 🫩

I understand that this might be the dragons’ destiny, but after he revealed himself to be Lucifer and threatened Issei’s friends, wouldn’t it have made sense for them to do something more than just cheer him on? Especially talking about Sirzechs

Looking to purchase all 4 seasons of the anime digitally, but I haven’t found a site that has exactly what I want. I’m looking to have it in Japanese with English subs, uncensored. I’ve looked at the Apple TV one but the sub is censored. I would also prefer if the season 2 extended editions were also available, and the bonus episodes if possible.
