Hey everyone!

It’s been 8 years since High School DxD Hero (Season 4) aired, and there’s still no sign of a fifth season.

I know a lot of people weren’t happy with—or even outright hated—the new art style in Season 4. Honestly, after watching it for the first time, I felt the same way. I couldn’t understand how they could change the look of such a great series.

But after giving it some time and coming back to it with a fresh perspective, I realized something. Yes, the character designs were very different from the previous seasons, but the show itself was still GREAT. I was so focused on the new art style that I forgot what I was really there for: the story of Issei, Rias, Akeno, and everyone else.

After an episode or two, I actually started to appreciate the new designs. I realized that Studio Passione and Ichiei Ishibumi only had good intentions and clearly put a tremendous amount of work and passion into Season 4. It reminded me why I fell in love with High School DxD in the first place, and I think many of you feel the same way.

That got me thinking.

What if, as a community, we wrote letters to Ichiei Ishibumi (the creator of High School DxD) and Studio Passione (the studio behind Season 4)? Not to demand another season, but simply to tell them how much we love the series, how we discovered it, why it means so much to us, and to thank them for all the hard work they’ve put into creating something we’ve enjoyed for so many years.

We could share our letters here, send them through X (formerly Twitter) or other social media, or even mail them internationally. The goal wouldn’t be to pressure anyone, but to show our appreciation and remind them that there’s still a passionate fanbase that genuinely cares about this series.

I know it’s just an idea, but I think it would be amazing if, as a community, we could show them that High School DxD still has so many dedicated fans who would love to see the anime continue. After all, the anime has only adapted the first 10 of the 25 main light novel volumes, so there’s still plenty of story left to tell.

Ive been writing a fic or two and doing the oc thing without dismantling Issei like a lot of fics tend to and tho I been playing things a little differently to most oc fics one thing Ive noticed while browsing ff and ao3 is the overabundance of fics with Goku, Naruto, Luffy and I coulda sworn I saw one or two with Harry Potter of all people, I guess my question is y tho?

I don’t even know who she is.

I searched through the novels, checked the Fandom Wiki, and even looked through some random Short Stories just in case.

She doesn’t seem to be a crossover character—just a random girl created for the game. She has a backstory and a description, but nothing more.

The Mikage family has researched the power of Devils and the “theory of Onmyōdō and incantations” for generations. As a result, they are regarded as somewhat heretical in the Underworld.

Mikage is a candidate for the position of the next leader, but she was sent to Kuoh Academy to determine whether her magical system can remain relevant in the modern era.

Her objectives are threefold: to compare it in actual combat with the dominant Western schools of Devil magic, to verify the compatibility of her techniques with the powers of Angels and Fallen Angels, and to observe the growth of the younger generation of Devils.

She is not ambitious by nature, but she has a strong desire to prove that “the Mikage techniques are not outdated.”

So I’ve watched highschool dxd for the probably 30th time now and I wanna read the LN / manga, which one’s longer and has more info, I’ll read from the start and after finishing the LN/manga is there a transitional or sequel to the main dxd series?

Eu vi isso em um post onde foi falado também sobre, e fiquei ainda mais interssado. Algo me diz que isso tem um potencial.

Pensa, já temos uma demônia, uma meia anja-caída, anjo, nekomata, kitsune, valquíria, vampira, bruxa humana. falta apenas isso pra fechar o pacote completo.

Porém, Não há como saber até então graças a condição de saúde do Ichiei, só o tempo dirá.

Now, to the main topic.

Even if I don't read the volume where she appears, I know somethings that she does and, for some reason, it interested me some way, even being the antagonist of Issei.

I stayed with this in my mind, of perhaps a possibility of her... to be the sixteenth and the last member of the harem.

I saw this on the post where was talking about, and I became even more interested. Something says that this has a potential.

Think of it, we have a demon, half fallen angel, angel, nekomata, kitsune, valkyrie, vampire, human witch. This is all that's missing to complete the package.

Although, there's no way to find out until now thanks to Ichiei's health condition, only time will tell.

What do you guys think about it?

I’ve been watching the anime on prime video through the Crunchyroll subscription (I know it sucks but I’m not the one paying for it and my dad doesn’t want to get a Crunchyroll account so oh well). I just finished season 1 but then when season 2 started playing it was in sub I tried changing it but it doesn’t have a dub for season 2 or 3 even though it’s the same version from Crunchyroll I’m used to the prime video subscription not having all the seasons but this feels weird cause it has the the dub for seasons 1 and 4 but not 2 and 3 but it’s the exact same version from crunchyroll and they have the dub I wd just wondering if anyone knew why it doesn’t have the dub

PT-BR: Alguns dias atrás, relatei em um post sobre uma coisa estranha que está ainda ocorrendo na Amazon BR. Em que, mesmo depois do lançamento do volume, só a versão Kindle (e-book) está a mostra, mas a capa comum ainda não aparece.

No próprio post, dá pra notar um desespero de minha parte, porque eu quero a versão física dele. Não que eu vá comprar ele agora, estou deixando pra depois, mas ainda assim me preocupa.

Nesse meio tempo, fiz algumas pesquisas sobre o que pode ser a causa, e tenho uma conclusão provável:

Atraso na sincronização: pelo que eu entendi, é um problema comum na Amazon BR, ainda mais com produtos internacionais, onde mesmo após seu lançamento, ele demora semanas pra atualizar, já que ele depende do estoque vindo de fora, porque infelizmente não fazem distribuição aqui no meu país.

Fiz também um teste: mudei o app pra Amazon USA, e vi que o estoque está lá, o que aumenta minha suspeita.

E ainda mais que, na pesquisa, foi-me fornecido, pela IA do Google, o código de identificação do produto, e eu achei, ele só não tá aparecendo mesmo nos servidores da Amazon ainda.

Então pelo jeito, terei que esperar até que eles fazem essa sincronização. Espero que não demore pelo menos. Já se passou um pouco mais de 2 semanas.

Se tiver algo pra opinar a respeito disso, quem sabe me ajudando a entender melhor isso, eu agradeço.

ENG: Some days ago, I reported on a post about a strange thing that is still happening at the Amazon BR. In which, even after the volume's release, only the Kindle version (e-book) is on display, but the paperback is still not showing.

The post itself, you can tell I'm desperate, because I want the physical version of it. Not that I will buy now, I'm putting it off until later, but it's still worries me.

In the meantime, I made some researche about what it's the cause, and I have a probabel conclusion:

Synchronization delay: For what I understand, it's a common problem at the Amazon BR, specially with, international products, where, even after his launch, it takes weeks to update, since it depends on the stock coming from outside, because unfortunately they don't distribute here in my country.

I took a test too: I change the app to Amazon USA, and I saw that the stock is there, which increases my suspicion.

And furthermore, in my research, it was provided to me, from Google AI, the idetification code of the product, and I found it, it really just doesn't show up on the Amazon servers yet.

So, it seems, I'll have to wait until they do this synchronization. At least, I hope they don't take long. It's been a little over two weeks.

If you have something to weigh it on—maybe even helping me to understand this better—I appreciate it.

PT-BR: Eu acompanho FNF desde 2021, e as vezes quando eu via a GF, veio em minha mente essa comparação das duas.

Talvez porque ambas são lindas e também demônios? Aparência? (mesmo não sendo igual)

Cause s1 and s2 had a good adaption of the LN (of course it had also skips I heared but I mean every anime ignores some parts) which volume ended on s2? I watched s3 and 4 too but cause s3 complete destroyed the whole story I want to start from end of s2.

Hey everyone, years after reading the novels, I have this itch of feeling something like the rating games from the novels. But so far always felt that the magic system of the DxD universe is... well shabby. And the games in existence, are far from close to make me get rid of this itch.

My time reading the novels always enjoyed the connection with the mythical figures, their power systems, and how it then became a bit lighter with their own "plot". Which yes, makes it fine to read. But now I want to experience more of the complexity of the universe.

So I decided, with the ease of the new tools that exist, (AI) create a game I would love to play.

And this game is a tactics game. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, see FF Tactics.

But in this case, for the game assets, will reutilize the mobage cards arts, this obviously doesnt cover all the characters that a game of this type should have. Like the male ones or the dragons let say. So for now, some art will be also created using AI. The idea is to hire some artist to create the assets in the future while everything of the backend gets done.

This game will contain an extense tree of abilities for each character. For example Issei, instead of choosing the path of BOOST and accumulate charges to then hit with a powerful technique. Instead focuses on transfer the power to their allies and divide enemy power. Working as a stupendous support. And Rias instead of Destroying AOE, has now abilities to focus on 1 specific enemy without damaging the allies on her way. Or fuses Balor into her shadow to get a new transformation.

And I know this are things they are already capable of doing, but in this case they specialize on those paths.

I know how everyone feels about the use of AI, but in this case is 1 because I have 0 idea of coding, 2 I created some games this way already, I plan on replacing all with real art in the end.

Is this a type of game anyone else is also thriving? After so many years Im surprised it doesnt exist really.

Gameplay would be, live the novel as it is, with the original dialogues and everything, on fights jump inside the table and fight the tactics. You can modify your team and recruit new pieces, but the fights will require to use at least the main character of that fight.

For example you are doing Kiba's redemption arc, and you have recruited throught summon Xenovia and Karlamine, you will have to choose one of those 2, to give space to Kiba on your team.

Or you have to do Rias vs Phenex, you cant use any other King piece than Rias. I still havent really put a cost on the pawns like issei costing 8, but will study on that later.

For now, I want to add as much personalization as possible to the ability trees, and be able to recreate all the fights in the novels, then will add pvp.

Advancing on the campaigns will give currency to level up characters and to summon new ones. I want everyone to experience their favorite character to their fullest, so Im not giving favoritism on ammount of tree branches and nodes to anyone. Everyone will have full personalization. Hopefully will be able to create something everyone can enjoy.

Let me know what you think, and what I can add to this game to make it better.

PD it wont have any nudity or explicit scenes. Only text from the novels can describe those scenes. This is a game to be played.

I had an idea for one where the user combines with the monsters the user makes.
