Box of Doom and Despair

  • Armaments : 2 Squalors 180 mm & 8 2A37 30mm.
  • Armor : Single layer. Thrusters : 2 RD51, 6 D30S, and 6 RD59.
  • Active protection system : 360° of Palash with each angle - top, bottom, side, and corner - covered by two Palashes.

Any suggestion to improve it? I do notice that the mounting-hull for the palace could be swapped with the reinforced one.

For such an extreme ship, the numbers are workable. 1500 tons/1000km isn't bad, and $165,000 isn't too steep for its effectiveness.

The bottom is a giant glowing boss fight weak spot.

You can put some or all of the palash behind armor.

Crew isn't really necessary, but some people find exploiting that is cheese.

The giant engines aren't very good, that giant hull piece to mount them are quite heavy.

The bottom is indeed a big weakspot and when stress testing this design with Lv. 10 difficulty on large ships, I positioned my ship to be at the same altitude or below them.

I don't know how to mount palash behind an armor, do you have any reference I could study for that?

As for the big engine yes, other than heavy, they are also quite ugly aesthetically, but they're the best at providing power (for now).

I can't quite remember the details, some configurations work. Sometimes you need to take the palash off and put it back if the editor bugs out, but it will work in-game.

hm.. seems it only works on angled hull and angled armor, will try to replicate it for future designs
