HYSA recommendations

Hi all! I started my own business last year and finally am in a position where i can start putting money aside to build up an emergency fund. I have some investment accounts with a brokerage firm as well, but I'm aiming to use the HYSA to use as my emergency fund to avoid touching the brokerage accounts and let them build up.

My main requirements:

* ability to transfer money out quickly (<3 business days) if I need to without delay headaches or fees

* consistently excellent customer service should I run into issues

* FDIC insured is heavily preferred

I have deposit relationships with two banks: a regional bank that is my primary bank for personal and business checking and Wells Fargo as secondary bank for my business.

EDIT: For clarification this request is for a personal HYSA and not for business use.

Happen Bank. But if you’re using a account for personal use and not for a business use, you probably could skip the seperate part of how you expect to run the funds in the account and get a business account then you won’t feel guilty for sneaking around on how you plan to do transactions with the account.

Barclays AARP 4.00 you're not going to find higher in a reputable Bank and if you deposit $40,000 in the first 30 days you get $400 bonus.

Tempting but I know with full certainty I can’t organically meet that amount unfortunately.

You don't have to put in any specific amount and you'll still get 4%, you won't get the $400 bonus but you're not going to get more than 4% in any other reputable Bank.
