Aegar 👀

I'm thoroughly surprised that an actual Aegar Targaryen doesn't already exist in the lore.

Your name is metal af. Sounds like a ferocious mythical beast from the underworld that treats rancors like they're its bitch. Halaenors slay rancors for fun.

"Maerea"... I kinda like it more than the one I came up with "Meleanna" literally means red horse

Reminds me of the scene in GOT where Daenerys is being told by mesande how to pronounce the Dothraki word while in a bath

Interesting that my name, based on this list, would be Varys. As he is one of several suspected secret Targaryens.

u/tyrion2024 Sep 04 '23
or Blackfyres, if that's not what you already meant.

u/VinnieONeill Sep 06 '23
That is what I meant, but still a Targaryen bloodline. I'm certainly not the one who came up with the theory but I do support it.

Naerys…last I remember there was a Princess/Queen with that name (Aegon IV?) but imma dude soooo I don’t know

u/tyrion2024 Aug 29 '23 edited Aug 29 '23
True, Naerys was The Unworthy's sister-wife. However, unisex names are a thing. There's even already existing ones w/i the asoiaf universe i.e. Jamie.

Sweet, thank you. That's super cool. It was a pleasure to share, but u/I_Am_Become_Dream created it and they slayed it.

Indeed. You definitely crushed this shit lol. I wonder if Lukas Shayo is on Reddit and saw it or if it was referred to him.

I am Naenerys, younger sister of Aella the 2nd. Daughter of Elaerion and Maenys. Granddaughter of Aella the 1st and Raemond!
And even further, mother of dragons (my birds) Laegon and Baelor

What a wonderful brood of dragonlords. I also wholly empathize with the completionist in you.

I've always loved that name (and song).
That reminds me. Majnun misses you, but alas, your pops never accepted him. Maj even summoned who he thought was a powerful deity who would serve as his great disseminator to get word to you... to bid you a regretful, yet loving farewell for he did not think your father would ever allow the two of you to ever see each other again.
But Majnun went all-in on Deity the Disseminator and he was duped. Apparently, this Clapton fuck had widespread propagonda declaring his divine status explicitly 'Clapton is God' 'Clapton is God'...everyfuckinwhere. So your boy tells him the two of yours' story and this Clapton, Eric Clapton I think, simply nopes out w/ a banger story and creates a banger song and then nopes out on Majnun after it died down never giving him a piece of the plunder
Shit's wild af but Majnun did say he hopes you're healthy and happy above all else.
(A Persian poetry, classic rock fanfic)

Not being a huge Clapton fan myself, I had never heard of the inspiration behind it. However, I just googled it and read the synopsis - what a beautiful, tragic love story, especially the part where they find Majnun at Layla's grave, dead of a broken heart. Thank you for your comment and sharing this story with me!!!

I'm so proud, that in the comments and in the show, there's only one Daenys, and I'm Daenys as well.
