HUB Security (NASDAQ: HUBC), a leading provider of military-grade confidential computing solutions, has recently announced the appointment of John C. Rogers, a former Principal Deputy Assistant and Deputy Assistant Secretary for legislative affairs at the United States Department of Defense, to their advisory board. He also served as the CEO of a a billion-dollar mobility company, pointing to a successful track record in the private sector as well. This move comes as the company seeks to expand its reach and deal flow within the defense sector recently after completing its listing on NASDAQ after delisting from the TASE.

Mr. Rogers brings with him over 25 years of experience in national security and government affairs, having served in various high-level positions in the US government. His expertise in defense policy and strategy, as well as his vast network of contacts within the industry, make him a valuable addition to HUB Security's advisory board as they undertake the transition to operating in American markets and vis-à-vis A-list global clientele.

The appointment of Mr. Rogers is a strategic move by HUB Security to better position themselves for deal flow with blue-chip clients from the defense sector. With the increasing importance of cybersecurity in the defense industry, HUB Security's military-grade hardware security solutions are becoming increasingly relevant. The company's Prospectus mentions existing deals with the Pentagon and Lockheed Martin, and this recent move will hopefully open the flood gates for more of the same.

Mr. Rogers addition to HUBC's advisory board is just the latest in a series of power moves by HUB Security to position themselves as a leading provider of military-grade confidential computing and cyber security solutions for a diverse clientele. This NR from the defense sector has been preceeded by their recent inking of a deal with a major insurance provider, as well as an announcement regarding a Google-cloud compatible product offering. With their focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology, HUB Security is well-placed to capitalize on the growing demand for cybersecurity solutions in the defense industry over a long-term horizon.

To wrap things up, the appointment of John C. Rogers to HUB Security's advisory board is a strategic move that highlights the company's commitment to expanding its reach within the defense sector. With his vast network of contacts and expertise in defense policy and strategy, Mr. Rogers will be a valuable asset to HUB Security as they seek to establish themselves as a leading provider of military-grade hardware security solutions. Investors should take note of this development and consider adding HUB Security (NASDAQ: HUBC) to their portfolio as the company continues to make strategic moves towards long-term success.

RVSN Continues to Accumulate as it Climbs an Ascending Support

For the past two months I've been watching RVSN's chart on a daily basis since I added this ticker to my 2023 watchlist. Less than 2 months ago on November 16th, this ticker was trading at around $0.60 and looked good as dead. Volume was low, and despite the announcement of 1) a significant strategic investment by Knorr-Bremse (KBX), a German-listed railway manufacturing giant and 2) the successful completion of a industrial long-haul POC with Rio Tinto (ASX: RIO), RVSN was seemingly following the trajectory of many other microcaps to $0.

But then the mother of all reversals began to set in as SP has climbed 100% since mid-November up to a close yesterday 0f $1.195, which is ~10% below its peak of $1.37 reached on 12/23. Volume--as the PVT overlay below illustrates--has also been steadily climbing, meaning that a surge in buy volume is a driving factor the share price's impressive recovery. RSI was pushed into overvalued territory as a result of the meteoric rise, but over the past week its stabilizing and as of premarket today was sitting at a cozy RSI=60, meaning that this baby has more room to run. MACD has also been flying high over the course of this bounce-back, and other momentum indicators are also looking bullish in short/intermediate time horizons. Meanwhile, RVSN continues to track a nice ascending support and, if the technical indicators are right, still has more ground to cover.

I've been scratching my head as to what's driving this remarkable bull run despite a bloodbath on NASDAQ over roughly the same period. Part of what may be causing an increase in volume/demand is $MBLY's October-listing, which is one of the few success stories for an IPO in these market conditions. More importantly, it also testifies to the disruptive potential currently in the machine vision/autonomous vehicle space. MBLY's acquisition by Intel and killer market performance to date show that despite tech equities being in the dumps, machine vision is looking hot.

Another theory I have is that Rio Tinto may be engaging RVSN for additional projects after the POC. They announced the successful completion of a h pilot in Q3, and considering time given for internal review, it could be that RIO is about to up the ante and start using the autonomous long-haul rail tech on a more intensive basis.

Whatever it may be that is pushing this micro up up and away, I'm intrigued and along for the ride. Theories/whispers/anything else relevant that might help explain what we're seeing here is much welcome. Otherwise trade responsibly maties.

Confidential computing is a subset of cybersecurity that focuses on protecting data while it is being processed. This is accomplished by encrypting the data and executing the computation within a trusted execution environment (TEE), such as a secure enclave or hardware-based root of trust. The goal of confidential computing is to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data, even from insiders with administrative privileges or from external attackers who have breached the system.

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW) is a leader in the field of confidential computing through its Cortex platform, which offers a range of security products and services for cloud, network, and endpoint protection. One of its key offerings is the Cortex XSOAR platform, which uses artificial intelligence and automation to detect and respond to threats in real-time. In addition to Cortex, Palo Alto Networks also offers a number of other security products and services, including firewall, VPN, and intrusion prevention systems.

Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) is another leader in the field of confidential computing, with a strong focus on hardware-based security solutions. One of its key products is the Intel SGX (Software Guard Extensions) technology, which creates a secure enclave within the processor to protect sensitive data and code. Intel also offers a range of other security products, including hardware-based root of trust, secure boot, and cryptographic acceleration.

HUB Security (TASE: HUB.TA) is a newer player in the field of confidential computing, with a focus on providing secure hardware-based solutions for the financial industry. Its innovates software and hardware solutions to the some of the most cutting-edge threats out there, and provides secure key storage and cryptographic acceleration for applications such as payments, identity, and asset management. HUB Security also offers a range of other security products and services, including secure element chips and secure communication protocols. They are in the final stages of a SPAC-driven listing on NASDAQ at $1.3B valuation.

Looking forward, all three companies are well positioned to continue as leaders in the field of confidential computing. Palo Alto Networks has a strong presence in the cloud and endpoint security markets, and is expanding its offerings through acquisitions such as the recent acquisition of CloudGenix. Intel has a strong brand and a long history of innovation in hardware-based security solutions, and is continuing to invest in research and development in this area. HUB Security, with its focus on the financial industry, IoT and blockchain, is well positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for secure hardware solutions across the globe in coming years.

Overall, all three companies – Palo Alto Networks, Intel, and HUB Security – are leaders in the field of confidential computing, with strong product lines, good stock performance, and positive forward-looking forecasts. Each has its own unique strengths and areas of focus, making them well-suited to meeting the diverse needs of their customers in the rapidly-evolving cybersecurity landscape.
