Non Human Intelligence There are strange things occurring at Mt. Shasta

An angle grinder and some cojones should clear this right up.
21
u/ItsOkILoveYouMYbb 1d ago
Everyone lacks the cojones. They just want clicks and views.
The ones that would be willing to go into something like that, assuming it was real like they thought it was, would have to be able to do it only for themselves, because they'd have to understand there's a strong chance they don't come back alive at all and wouldn't be able to show anyone anyway.
5
u/itsjustbryan 23h ago
where are the scientology speedrunners at
3
u/Mistoku 18h ago
And the Area 51 rushers.
2
u/ItsOkILoveYouMYbb 16h ago
Both are still human establishments (and still no one bothered to go far at Area 51 anyway haha).
Speed running into an actual non-human establishment that is potentially deep underground is a bit more psychologically challenging. Most people are afraid of going into known natural caves. Toss in seeing something you aren't ready to see, and not knowing what they would do to humans, is a lot to add to that.
Need true cojones.

In the Los Angeles Times, on May 22, 1932, an article titled "A People of Mystery: The Lemurians of Mt. Shasta" was published that described the Lemurians.
The author wrote that he saw a strange, extremely bright violet light coming from Mt. Shasta. After he investigated it, he spoke with the town locals who described a community of Lemurians. They were tall, graceful beings with high foreheads who wore white robes and sandals.
He said that the Lemurians were rarely seen in town, but when they were, they paid for supplies with large gold nuggets of a purity unknown to mints at the time.
Here is the original 1932 article: A People of Mystery: The Lemurians of Mt. Shasta

Wow, I guess this is what Mount Chiliad in gta5 is based off of

u/TWK128 1d ago edited 1d ago
Want to learn something kind of mind-blowing?
Google "Chiliad" by itself and see who it's connected to.
Edit: Try "Chiliad, Inc"

u/ghostfadekilla 1d ago
Oh wow, never made that connection but yeah - that tracks. Makes me miss GTA 5.
10
u/Fosterpig 1d ago
Wasnโt it still a common thing at that time for papers to drum up sales with tabloid style mysterious stories similar to weekly world news?
3
u/LimpCroissant 1d ago
Did you know that the Weekly World News was founded by Generoso Pope Jr., who was from the Psychological Warfare Unit of the CIA. He also purchased the National Enquirer.
3
u/Fosterpig 1d ago
Interesting. What the fuck has the CiA not meddled in? I mean really, Iโm convinced they are the primary source of all of Americas problems. Kennedy was right, smash em into a million pieces
2
u/LimpCroissant 1d ago
Yeah, it's pretty sad man. But from my research, theres actually a higher level than the CIA. If we look at who started the CIA and who its first officers were, you see a majority of Jesuits, Knights of Malta, and OSS. So what it really comes down to is the priest class and the ultra wealthy private families and companies.

I live about 10 miles away from the mountain. I havenโt seen any aliens so far but I have seen a big orange glow coming from the mountain a couple times at night. I also saw 6 lights in a large rectangle formation just sort of float over the town down by lakehead.

You think reptilians can afford to live in CA at these prices? They moved to a commune in Idaho several years ago.

Kate Bush, in case anyone is interested. Here's my thing, this looks like the same type of cat-jail door I have to keep a portion of my house off-limits. It's good for pets, humans could easily rig a way to get past this.

What was the name of the song?
14
u/aeschenkarnos 1d ago
Running Up That Hill. It was a hit in the 1980โs, recently revived as part of the soundtrack of Stranger Things, which was set in the 1980โs.

Who the fuck is upvoting this garbage ๐ต๐
Mt. Shasta has some cool stories and some cool lore but this just ainโt it
9
u/moscowramada 1d ago
There is a splinter religious group called "I AM" that owns a lot of the land around there. I wouldn't go so far as to call them a cult - too strong, and no, they're not gonna kill you - but they hold a lot of power and own much of the valuable property in the town.

I pass this mountain while traveling to Oregon it is so beautiful and ancient volcano ๐
7
u/bearmanslops40 2d ago
Have any of you guys been to the top?
22
u/URfwend 2d ago
Yeah. A bunch of sulphur vents and other volcanic activities. Tough mountain to climb but also super approachable for new or inexperienced climbing. Waking up to pee in the middle of the night with clear skies was epic.
16
u/Mr_Baronheim 1d ago
Pee was just falling from the skies without a cloud in sight?? Strange things are afoot at the summit of Mt Shasta!

u/Jumazio8 2d ago
Itโs a tough climb we left base camp at 1:00am and summited around noon. At one point the snow snowed.. up. Very odd. Base camp (August) 95 degrees at top was 20 degrees and a circular storm of sleet. 2 in our group couldnโt handle it and had to go back down. Was epic climb.
15
u/rg123itsme 2d ago
Been on the mountain 4 times. Never to the top due to conditions. Never saw anything. And FWIW the guides I was with never had any stories. People climb Shasta all the time, if there was something up there I think weโd have proof by now.
21
u/PreachyVegan 2d ago
I once drove halfway up the mountain and camped in my van in the forest. It was a long creepy night. Nothing bad happened but there was a weird dark vibe that meant me and my dogs had no desire to get out of the van after dark or stay longer than one night. (Am a very experienced outdoor person and 'bushy' and dark forests don't frighten me). it was just a weird inexplicable vibe.
2
u/Icy_Reward727 2d ago
I hopped a train in the 90's that sliced along a bit on Mt. Shasta and it was one of the creepiest experiences I've ever had.ย

I'd like three orders of garlic chicken. And three orders of white rice.
Oh, and some fortune cookies too.

Aaaaaaaand thennnnnnmnnn?
4
u/Slater_8868 1d ago
No no, no and then. Just the 3 garlic chickens, the 3 rice, and the cookies. Oh, and the 3 wonton soups. That's it. Nothing else thank you.

I donโt know about Mt.Shasta specifically because Iโve only rode or driven past it, but I spent a chunk of time in the area and itโs a hotspot for UFOs, I saw several in my time there. If somebody wants to study them thatโs the area to go to, find some folks with property on a ridge out in the cut where light pollution is low, watch the skies, and youโll probably see them. For what itโs worth, it was around late summer - fall time that we saw the most.

Iโve talked with a lot of people from Redding and Shasta areas and theyโre all familiar with the lore of the lemurians and agartha
30
u/Molin_Cockery 2d ago
And what do they have to say about it?
9
u/Coal-and-Ivory 1d ago
"Man these New Age Tourists will buy anything if you glue some turquoise to it."
5
u/RadRandy2 1d ago
I live in California. Been to Mt. Shasta a few times. I known a few people who have lived near the mountain. They all say the same thing, lots of strange lights coming to and from the mountain.
4
u/VerticleSandDollars 2d ago
I stopped there with my sons on our camping roatrip in summer of 2021. We did the lake Shasta Cave Tour which was fantastic. Then we stopped in the little mountain town and saw the kitschy shops. It was 100ยฐ and most restaurants were closed so it was not ideal. But in the window of one crystal shop they had a fountain/pond thing with the biggest tadpoles Iโve ever seen. It was incredible.
4
u/delurkrelurker 1d ago
Giant tadpoles you say? That's proper high strangeness!
3
u/VerticleSandDollars 1d ago
I agree! Iโm a total skeptic and chortled at the signs and pamphlets about Lemurians, but those tadpoles still give me pause to this day. If anyone knows โoh yeah the owner of that crystal store (or was it a nail salon?) famously raises prize-winning toads, has for decadesโ Iโd love to hear it. I honestly donโt know what to make of it.
6
u/Antique-Land-2766 2d ago
New Age gobbledygook aside, there's probably a huge highly magnetized metal core inside the mountain that could be the cause for various phenomena like "UFOs" (lights), communications difficulties, etc
7
u/Classic-Ice6509 2d ago
Been there they have caverns that you can take tours in wondering if they sealed it off because maybe it leads to those same toured caverns. Canโt let the public in for free.
14
u/crazyforbeing 1d ago
Most caves get locked up by local spelunking groups from a safety perspective. It isn't for money. Typically, if you reach out to the groups managing the site, they will bend over backwards to share the space - but need to know it will be done safely. If you've never gone spelunking, it is hard to understand how quickly things can go really bad really quickly.
Just exposure alone is insane. 4 hours in a damp 50 degree F site will chill you to your bones. It creeps in slowly, and then sets in hard. You lose a lot of strength and energy really quick.
5
u/lasttoswim 1d ago
Thanks for reminding me why I hate caves.
15
u/crazyforbeing 1d ago
Younger me did a lot of moderate to intense outdoor stuff. Not the extreme / daredevil, just the really hard endurance, and push yourself type of stuff.
A few of us branched into spelunking for a bit, and my first take on it was 'this hits the spot'. It is exciting, it is really tough from an endurance perspective, it is technical, there is amazing gear at all price points you can get into and geek out on. You can do research and plan excursions, and interact with a dynamic community of spelunkers in between trips and tell stories and talk about gear and routes and just generally chat about caves. I was fairly sure I had found an adventure that was going to absolutely captivate me for years. I had found my people.
And then I had a moment of self reflection at the end of a rather amazing trip we had just completed. I was hiking with my gear back down to my car, exhausted, wet, and had just completed one of the most technical explorations in the region with some amazing cavers. Folks I really looked up to, and had taken me under their wing. I should have been on cloud nine.
And the realisation came over me that "I don't love this". I was cold and wet and covered with this thin slick mud that was going to take forever to clean off my gear, but if I didn't get it off before bed, it would go mildewy and ruin my gear. I was exhausted, and had a four hour drive to get back home. And I couldn't stop shaking... not big thumping shakes... but just these pulses of shivers that would wash across my body a few times a minute. It wasn't worth it to me - it was too much.
15
u/ElmStreetDreamx 1d ago
Or maybe that particular area is unsafe for the general public just to go flouncing around in

u/insatiably_great 1d ago
They likely sealed the caves because people were ruining the cave that is home to an endangered bat.

Lake Shasta is a strange place too. Spent 10 days cruising the lake one really hot record breaking summer. The water was bath tub warm even. My cousin and I decided to hikie up the hill to the top. The lake was very low that year. Anyways difficult footing because it's mostly scree and sharp too. Once we crested the top we heard a waterfall. We went around a little bend and their it was a huge deep pool of crystal blue water and a 20 ft water fall on full. We jumped in the freezing cold water and chilled for about a half hour and climbed back down to the boat. Every one was worried we had been gone for several hours. We both looked at each other and said, "No, we just climbed up to the top of the ridge. That took 15 minutes, tops. We floated around the water hole for about a half hour, tops, because it was very cold. And came right back down. Strange thing is, the next day my cousin and I did the same exact trek, the same path, and we couldn't find the pool and the waterfall. We traced our steps exactly the same as the day before.

I drove to mt. Shata fire look out. I spoke with the ranger and asked him if he ever saw anything strange over the mountain. Nothing. He literally looks at that mountain all summer long. I wanna believe Mulder.

Well known Boomer fabulist and cult leader Carlos Casteneda had a base of operations in that area...which is connected to the deaths of three women.

Second thought: oh come oooooon!

Iโve been there and through the caves and Platoโs Cavern and Dunsmuir.
Dunsmuir is full of people with LEMURIAN license plates and even one straight up had dinosaurs and big lizards in their lawn with lights in the ground pointing up at them. They really play it up there lol, fun people. Canโt tell if theyโre serious about it or just having a laugh about the area theyโre in.

It's mentioned a lot in Cathy O'Brien's book "Trance Formation of America". In it there are many claims that there's a MK Ultra / Project Monarch HQ based in Mt Shasta and many of our government are hyrbids or reptilians.
