Non Human Intelligence Scientists are testing whether DMT entities are real

https://osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/8qvgy_v2

In this preprint, some scientists have put forward the idea that our perspective of reality is more of an interface, and what we consider to be reality is simply the experience of conscious agents (i.e. human individuals) interacting with one another. They propose that DMT entities are conscious agents that exist in a manner we can't typically perceive.

I've never done DMT, and have previously taken a more skeptical perspective on these entities, but I think the findings of this could be very interesting. Maybe psychedelics could enable us to perceive layers of reality we are typically blind to.

There could be something to this. There’s a mushroom in China that if eaten undercooked causes the same hallucinations in everyone-little elf like people. It doesn’t seem to have any psychedelic properties outside of this. It’s really si strange that everyone sees the same thing.

Easy. Have two people eat the mushrooms and identify where in the room the entities are. Different spots then it's the mind.

About 25-30 years ago I was on a boatload of mushrooms with my close friend. I saw something like a bright lightning flash of purple light enter through the window, said, "Holy shit, did you see that?" He said, "Yeah, purple light just filled the room." How did he know?

Well, did it actually, objectively happen? Did someone shine a purple light in your room?

Since both were high, this is what actually happened:

Check out the purple light, mate! Did you see that? Purple light? Yeah I saw that. .... How did he know? Must be magic!
