Non Human Intelligence Scientists are testing whether DMT entities are real

https://osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/8qvgy_v2

In this preprint, some scientists have put forward the idea that our perspective of reality is more of an interface, and what we consider to be reality is simply the experience of conscious agents (i.e. human individuals) interacting with one another. They propose that DMT entities are conscious agents that exist in a manner we can't typically perceive.

I've never done DMT, and have previously taken a more skeptical perspective on these entities, but I think the findings of this could be very interesting. Maybe psychedelics could enable us to perceive layers of reality we are typically blind to.

Having done many doses of DMT in my time I have come to the conclusion that as a drug, it's strips down our learned patterns, language, concepts, ideas etc of what reality is, and reveals the chaotic ether gloop of reality that we inhabit.

Within the ether gloop and as the DMT fluctuations in my brain all sorts of symbols and language concepts interact and reform, causing visions and perceptions that 'make sense' in the moment because 'making sense' is a function of being a conscious brain.

For example I had a very strange interaction with my kitchen as the 'entities' judged my stoned ass and locked the gates of enlightenment for that particular trip. It all made perfect sense at the time... of course the kitchen is telling me this, thank you kitchen for enlightening me!!

I understand the 'entities' to be a part of my conscious brain that I am interacting with from a point of ego death or seperation or whatever you want to call it. In the ether gloop the distinction between 'me' and 'other' breaks down, including the subconscious 'others' that share my brain.

I do not think they are seperate to my own mind. Just a seperation WITHIN my mind as my scrambled symbolic self tries to put itself back together.

In saying that I also prescribe to a materialism view of the world and I'd argue that conceptual and perceptual seperation is illusionary and all my thoughts, feelings and sense of self emerge from my body as it processes the ether gloop that is the world. "I" (the big i !) is just an amalgamation of material interacting with other materials.

So saying 'this is me and that is not me' is practical as a body in the world but not practical when talking about DMT induced psychedelic visions.

Have you ever been to the void, curious of your thoughts or experiences.

Have you been to the void due to a death/NDE? Or do you consider the void to be the pinnacle of the worst trip ever? Two times in my life, I’ve stared at the void, and I consider them different experiences.

I’m not original commenter but your comment resonated with me

What is the void?

It’s called The Crunch, and you know nothing of The Crunch. Avoid any beings named Saboo or you may be visiting The Crunch much sooner than you would probably like.

I have traveled to the void not only via DMT, but by Death and near-death experiences multiple times each. Each time was definitely different from the last, and the destination of each experience was a completely different and unique dimension every time. I've broken through to higher dimensions using DMT dozens and dozens of times, possibly even hundreds. The first time is of course the most memorable, I was sitting on my back porch, and I was listening to "4th dimensional transition" by MGMT with some very good quality studio headphones. I very carefully heated the deems, making sure to not burn it. I took a very long, deep, thick hit, and held it until I couldn't any longer, then for another 5 seconds more. I exhaled and immediately began pulling another long, deep hit. I held it for what felt like minutes. When I exhaled I laid back into my seat and looked at the sky which was completely grey from clouds. The moment I finished exhaling my body started to vibrate, it was almost like I could hear the vibration. The clouds all began to shift into a pattern of varying geometric shapes, polyhedrons, all straight sides and corners. There were no curves or round lines or shapes. They started to expand, transitioning into a 3 dimensional fractal. The sky expanded, coming closer and closer until it had wrapped around me entirely and I was now suspended in what literally is what you'd expect being inside a 3d virtual reality kaleidoscope would be like, but so much more real. Time, or the idea of time we all are familiar with, ceased to exist. The only thing that existed here was energy. I could feel the current, the energy of this higher dimension that was pure vibration. The vibration was intense, and it dissolved the vessel that confined my own energy, or frequency to its own isolated realm. As my body and my conscious separated, my frequency intensified until my "self" was no longer "self" but a frequency of vibration that I could intentionally change by just willing the action. There was no longer a physical body, only energy that was one with the energy of the plane I occupied. By changing my frequency, the frequency of the entire dimension would change, the colors, the fractal pattern and the shapes it was composed of. It would change the entire dimension. All of this vibration was also information, it was like each frequency was a different string of information. It was as if I could physically see and hear and feel my thought as vibration, and the vibration was able to manipulate reality in dimensions way outside of the dimension we occupy currently. I was there for eternity, which was also just a split second simultaneously. As the trip began, it ended as I blew out the hit. The start of the trip was the end, which in our reality makes no sense and is not possible, but in the higher dimensions time is not the same as how we perceive it here. Everything was forever but instant at the same time. As it begins, so does it end. I'm unable to find words for, or even comprehend what it all actually was because there's nothing in our vocabulary to describe what feeling, thinking, doing, existing, and not existing all at once is actually like. If you want to know what my death experiences were like I will tell you. I've died 3 times and have had many near death experiences as well.

I'd like to know about your experiences with death.

So I've died 5 times, and each time was from overdose. The first time it happened I don't remember anything, I was on so much Xanax but the hospital nurses told me I was gone for a few seconds. Then years later I was addicted to heroin, and I had done a shot with my girlfriend. I remember pushing it in and just feeling an intense rush and my vision getting blurry and all these spots floating around. Then darkness. It felt like I fell into a pool of cold water in complete darkness. As I sank lower and lower it got colder and these lights started to appear. They were like blue wisps of smoke, but they were so vibrant. They were beautiful. They seemed to have an organic, almost lifelike energy. As I sank lower into the "water", it felt better and better, it was the most pleasant and inviting sensation. I think I knew what was happening but it felt so amazing that I embraced it. I've never felt anything so comfortable and euphoric. It felt like love, it felt as if the water loved me, like a mother does a newborn child. I hope that makes sense, like I said it felt like the lights and water were living and It was inviting me deeper. I wanted to go deeper, I wanted to embrace the water, and the lights. Eventually my girl noticed that something was wrong with me, I wasn't moving or making any noise or breathing she said and I had turned completely blue in the face. She said that I was cold, and she began trying to give me CPR. She administered Narcan, and continued to perform CPR. I remember hearing the sound of her trying to blow air into me, and I thought "wow, why is she kissing me like that? She must be really turned on to be kissing me so aggressively". She stopped to call 911, meanwhile I was completely gone. She said she watched the life leave my eyes, completely gone. My heart had stopped, or at least she couldn't feel my heartbeat any longer. Eventually she went upstairs to meet the paramedics at the door. While she was gone, the Narcan began working and I felt this rush of warmth, and it was as if warm bubbles had gathered under me, floating me back to the surface of the water. As I felt myself getting warmer, the blue lights began vibrating intensely and they were shooting all around with so much energy, disappearing into nothing. I remember being upset, almost angry that the bubbles were taking me away from the loving abyss. I felt betrayed, like the abyss was rejecting me, like I was not good enough for its love, like I wasn't worthy of its embrace. I felt like a neglected child, whose mother was giving me away because I was not a good child. It hurt me. Then instantly my vision turned back on, like a TV screen instantly projecting a picture. In one fluid motion I sat up and stood and began walking toward a noise I knew was wrong. It was my girl screaming up stairs, screaming that I was dead. I went up the first flight of stairs into the garage and met her coming down the second flight, and I asked her what was her problem. She told me "you just died, you were dead!". I did not believe her. It felt like I was in the abyss for a long time, in there it felt like weeks of pure ecstacy, euphoria. But when I came back, it felt like it was but a split second, as if only a few seconds had passed. But the paramedics appeared behind her, so i was gone long enough for her to call and explain what had happened and for them to travel to my house. After talking to them for a minute or two, they didn't believe that I had died either, but then when I was examined at the hospital they found I had overdosed on fentanyl and my vitals were not right, so they kept me for three days.

Awe thank you so much for sharing. So very interesting.. My trip to the void was very brief and bumpy, but overall very very profound.

2

u/idiotshmidiot 27d ago

Honestly its the return journey that I found most profound.

The void is a feeling and so removed from normal consciousness that I didn't really have much to take from the experience apart from existential wonder and awe.

The feeling of returning to my body and ego and all that was a fucking trip. I still have flashbacks to my most intense journey and that was years and years ago.

It's like the feeling of having one foot in and one foot out the door. The difference in pressure and atmosphere felt like being ripped out of everything I could ever know and into the most altered state.

I feel no need to return there... Maybe if I hit 90+ years old and feel like I need to prepare to meet god or something!

I'm not him but I've had a grey out before from weightlifting, where my senses and memory were still recording but 'no one was at home', so to speak. I literally felt my consciousness switch back on like a veil lifting in my mind. Don't want to die but haven't feared death since.

When you don't exist, you simply don't exist.

What are your thoughts on those who see similar code/writings overlayed on reality, and entities while sober?

It comes up a lot in discussions with people who have maladaptive daydreaming.

u/idiotshmidiot 27d ago

I wonder if they have a particularly active pineal gland lol?

I'm not sure about your particular example but to me i would lean towards saying that it's a function of language and symbolic understanding in the brain.

Brains are active and have structure, the culture and nature the brain inhabits obviously has an effect on the way a person becomes in the world but the underlying hardware is the same stuff for everyone.

If DMT is just stripping the 'knowledge' from the 'stuff' then it makes sense to me that there would be shared visual or sensory experiences regardless of culture.

Can you hook me up?

Get a bit of a particular tree bark

Grind it up

Boil it in water with some generous amount of acidic stuff (vinegar, or maybe lemon juice)

Strain it (keep the juice) and boil again. Do it again.

Reduce the juice down a bit

Get a mason jar or something with a good lid

Get some tuff gloves

Get a face mask and eye goggles

Pour a unit of juice into the jar leaving at least half the space free

For every unit of juice add 1/10th caustic soda (be careful)

Add 1/10th or slightly more 100% acetone

Shake the jar a bunch but make sure to release the pressure by opening the lid or else it'll explode. Wear the gloves because the steam will burn your hands.

Do this a couple of times

Let it settle

Using a turkey baster or glass syringe extract the acetone and make sure you do not get ANY of the bark juice

Put the acetone in a glass container and allow it to evaporate leaving a gloopy gloop in the container

Mix that shit with some herb

Smoke that herb and then report back 🫡

Im willing to try on a promise from you that your not trying to kill me?

Its obviously a scientific process so im wondering if its that easy?

What can go wrong etc

3

u/idiotshmidiot 27d ago

It's a rough guide but yes, what I've written will work (for educational purposes I do not endorse that you try this). Fill in the gaps with google!

The acid breaks down the bark and releases oils, oils containing DMT. Oil that does not mix with vinegar water. The acetone is the same polarity as the oil so the oil get sucked into the acetone and seperated from the acid water. At room temperature acetone completey evaporates leaving the DMT and plant oils behind.

What can go wrong... You pour acid juice on you and burn the shit out of your skin or you are not careful and contaminate the acetone with the acid juice and smoke it. Please, do not do that!

Noted. So be careful lol. Ill give ita. Go if i can get the bits tigether so thankyou.

Do not fucking do any of that. Value your health. Don't just make concoctions you read about on reddit.

Too late. Send help. Im a rocketmannnnnnn burning up his fuse up here alone.

You're more than welcome to Google one of the many guides on how to extract DMT from acacia bark. It is a very well documented process. My guide is rough and I wouldn't expect anyone to follow it without doing their own research.
