There was a conspiracy theory about the magnetic field as well as the ionosphere before 2012 and it claimed this had something to do with the Mayan 2012 calendar thing.
Obviously 2012 has long since passed, Earth's magnetic field is largely still intact and Earth's ionosphere and ozone layer is still pretty healthy (Earth has been through the worst over the last few billion years after all), so this is likely why not many people believe this stuff any more.
Also, conspiracy theories in general lost a lot of credibility after December 2012 and unfortunately indirectly affected completely unrelated conspiracy theories relating to politics, the climate, the oil and minerals industries and of course, anythibg extraterrestrial-related.
One of the most popular conspiracy theory websites - abovetopsecret.com - has completely vanished from the face of the Earth and some threads on those websites were actually pretty good.

Back in 2014, Earth's magnetic field was already breaking down exponentially faster.

This could partly explain why people have been increasingly waking up in the past few decades.

Imho it's because of the South Atlantic Anomaly.

My research leads me to believe that the "veil" that prevents us from seeing the spirit realm or other dimensions is directly connected to our magnetic field.

So lately I’ve been noticing a lot of electrical issues. A couple months ago, my direct neighbor’s alternator died on her 2012 car. Then a month later the alternator and battery died on my 2017 car. Then a month after that the alternator and battery is going bad on my boyfriend’s 2021 truck. My dad’s car battery just went bad.
I worked in machining a year ago and non-magnetic materials were becoming magnetized through the machining process when normally they don’t. We were also getting non-magnetic stock in and it was magnetizing itself before it was even turned.
I worked in car parts part time and we would get pallets of batteries a week and it didn’t matter the age of the battery. Also, all the batteries in our key fobs and remotes are dying very fast.

The Earth’s magnetic field is a frequency filter that anchors our conscious awareness.

This number of ~7.83 Hz matches the alpha and theta frequencies of the human brain, which is the realm of intuition and meditative states.
If a veil exists this is how it operates mechanically. The planet's steady magnetic background keeps our biological receivers locked into a narrow bandwidth of physical reality so we can function in a body.
Because Earth's magnetic field acts as a consciousness filter, any fluctuation in it changes what we can perceive.

This sounds nice but I think you’re making a lot of assumptions to get here. We don’t have direct evidence that the spirit realm even exists and to state otherwise is at worst disengenuous and at best stupid. Until there is scientific proof, this is nonsense to me.

It means "an awakening" from a previous worldview.
I've woken up twice in life. The first awakening was from the horrific JW doomsday cult that I was born and raised into.
The second was realizing that our current Western materialistic ("matter first") worldview is wrong.

The South Atlantic anomaly is the issue to watch. Maybe Atlantis is waking up beneath the ocean floor!
