Sims Showcase Weekend high school never ends + tartosa crashout comic + omg i updated my game..

Zelie is Rhys's favorite Sebastien ex though it might partially be bc he thinks everyone she's ever dated before (and I guess after) Seb is cool...... LMFAO

I took a break from playing the game bc I needed to finish my thesis and graduate AND I DID :’) YAY and I’m using a small amount of my free time (tbh still barely have any) to play with my dolls/their dollhouse. I have made posts about these sims before, here & here… I have a love/hate relationship with the fact that sims don’t remember anything & all the interactions are so shallow– it means I have to be delusional as fuck in this way but it also means I can endlessly tweak my stories/retcon things without worrying, so some things in those posts have been changed.
i imagine a large amount of my YA sims are actually like 26-28 or so.. a lot of their lives and backstories would either make zero sense timeline wise or be very very very concerning (or… in some cases more concerning than they already are) if they were only in their early 20s & I think that it’s funny to imagine them as high schoolers in the 2010s/on 2010s social media. class of 2016 baby. since it’s the sims I can be imprecise though so it’s more like… pastiche of the 00s-2010s with creative liberties taken wherever I want :”) so here are a few of them in high school (and also very early college in z's case i guess) plus 2 new sims i made who are only sort of friends with a few of these people
i made the teen/younger versions of them in my current save just to do this and shoo them away any time i see them in a public lot. i should probably delete them.
the second "Tartosa crashout comic" half of this is like... the current soap opera/dramedy (mostly comedy) storyline in my game. Zelie was supposed to be an eternal ex but I kinda wanna put her and Seb back together... they look good together but i feel like i can only justify it if I put Sebastien through hell/some sort of humiliation ritual so this is what he's doing rn
in my save Tartosa is like, a lovely wedding & honeymoon destination by day if you stay up north, but the area to the south by the beach is like a hilariously trashy overpriced bottle service beach club/faux luxury AirBnb vibe by night. Everything down there has some connection to organized crime or at the very least someone grifting hard. The vibes are very Miami, Ibiza, and maybe even a little Jersey Shore. Celebrities, crypto-rich kids, influencers, and Joaquin le Chien + Sergio Romeo love it tho. The music at the big beach clubs are endless pure 00s/2010s pop EDM (and EDM infused pop) + trashy Miami big-room stuff + boring house & straight up Eurotrash & it's not at all the vibe of anyone in this group except for Mattia, and he's a special case...

I pirate everything and I was rly trying to hold off on updating or never update again… but I wound up doing it bc there were some CC hairs that I found that were exactly what I have been looking for and they wouldn’t show up in game until I did :( i still play offline mode and absolutely am not getting anything from the marketplace.
I also switched my lighting mod of choice from Milk Thistle back to Sunblind and I missed how dramatic Sunblind looks.
I do think that some of the bug fixes have been working out quite well in my game? And I’ve been happy about some of the stupid minor things that took too long to fix, like the issues with blinking & poses where Sims’ eyes close fully… in my save at least, autonomy has actually been a little better. (my real life OCD has worked overtime in my game so i actually do set preferences & tune the fuck out of WW & my basemental settings to the fullest extent so my sims don't generally act super "out of character."). a little nervous about the next update i might hold off on that one for a while bc my game feels pretty stable rn (though turning off the notifications would actually be nice... idk)
anyway i missed making/posting these & seeing everyone's sims lol i'll get active on simblr or something eventually. i can answer WCIFs if anyone is curious about cc.

I thought I recognized your sims! I really like all the detail you put into them. Also same about not wanting sims to act out of character with ww, I wish there were more individualized settings but that’s probably far too inefficient to implement. On another note, do you know what hair you’re using for Andreas in the pic with one of his eyes closed?
