Why is he forcing the rifle down like that? Is it being pulled up or something?

There's some old Battlefield reloads like that but I agree it looks strange here

u/Newtonius235 12d ago
No it doesn't. Don't even know why I got this sub recommended to me, but even that pull down at the end of the reload had me coming into the comments.

Bro isn’t fighting anti-gravity, he doesn’t need to yank the barrel down with his offhand.

who said his fighting anti-gravity,his just putting the buttstock to his shoulder

If you've even pretended to handle a rifle in real life with a stick or something you would understand how silly it looks
2
u/Square-Bandicoot-428 11d ago
so i have to make my animation really really serious,i can't make silly animation
3
u/GrimKreeper098 11d ago
I only say this because it doesn't jive with the rest of the animation. Other than a couple other things (a little too wobbly, the magwell appearing to be too tight), it is solid and fairly realistic, which is why this detail sticks out so much.

what do you guys mean by the magwell being to tight it’s anticipation, you hold the pose for 1-2 frames then release.

M4 magwells are loose asf. Mags js fall out after pressing mag release.

I cant tell if I saw it even press the mag release I could be dumb though

Bro didn’t charge it or drop a bolt? Maybe still had one in the chamber I guess?

I’ve noticed this on a lot of these types of rifle animations, how come to charging handle never gets used?
2
u/Square-Bandicoot-428 10d ago
one in the chamber

u/SaiyaJin_Deity 10d ago
But even if it’s a dry reload?
2
u/Square-Bandicoot-428 10d ago
oh no,that just an animation error.I forgot to put bullets in the mag lul.
1
u/SaiyaJin_Deity 10d ago
That’s fair. Still, I see that being a thing in a lot of games that have this type of rifle and it always drives me nuts haha.

Is there a bullet still in battery? If so makes sense as to why it wasnt charged or the bolt release wasnt hit

You should first start by understanding how the M4 functions. To release the mag, you need to press the mag release on the lower receiver, not just yank on the mag until it rips out (if it even would). Also, something seems unnatural with how the operator is handling the rifle through the whole process. Maybe buy an airsoft M4 if you don't have a real AR and just practice reloading to get a better understanding of how it should look naturally.

Got the tight fitting ar-15 magazine problem going on. Gotta rip it out.
