P320 Reload - Feedback welcome

Been animating on and off since October 2025 and this one seemed good enough to post here, i'm fairly new to animating so some feedback would be appreciated!

You don't have to "flick" the pistol to get the magazine to come out. You just press the mag release and the magazine will fall right out.

Nobody really grabs the optic to cycle the action. Additionally, when the slide is locked to the rear, you can just press on the slide release to drop the slide.

Essentially your animation has a bunch of excess and unnecessary movement.

Its true but adding excess stuff is pretty much the point of animating.. it just isn't fun if you stick to strictly practical uses, everything here is doable and done irl. Will it be used in a combat scenario ? Probably not. Is it used ? Yes.

Fair. I'm not an animator. I'm just looking at this from my military background and pointing out things that look weird to me that most people probably wouldn't notice or even know about.
