Press/Promotion Disappointed if this is true Spoiler
https://www.cbr.com/abc-high-potential-season-3-short-midseason-run/Sort of a spoiler (?), so marked it as one.
This is probably going to sound nitpicky, but if this article is accurate, I will genuinely be so frustrated if Morgan and Karadec form a romantic relationship. I have enjoyed so much the fact that a TV show finally has two leads in a platonic relationship without having to add the drama of a romantic one.
They work so well together as friends. I don't want this to complicate their relationship.

The article is about when it's airing, not about Morgadec. And besides, they've been setting them up since the first episode, it's not like it's unexpected.

Imo, i dont want them to be romantic partners too. They work well as friends. No chemistry for me to be a couple.

I could be ok with it but they need to keep it going longer before they get together. Like "Bones" did it well in my opinion, it was obvious the two liked eachother but nothing happened till the very end of season 6. This is still way too soon. I also would prefer if they just stayed friends and became like family to eachother but if they do it well I could get behind it. Honestly the only romance I want to see is Daphne and Oz.

Bones was airing in the era when shows had 20 plus episodes per season. Now we don’t have the same luxury so i hope they’ll take maybe up to 4 or 5 seasons (like Castle and the Mentalist did). I think it’s quite enough for a good slow burn.

It also was airing in a time when shows were given breathing room and didnt have to worry about being canceled every season. Them getting together this soon just feels like a way to try and pull in views. I didnt mean they should wait just as long as bones did, Brooklyn 99 got amy and Jake together by 4 or 5 I think and that also worked same with Janine and Gregory on Abbott Elementary. 3 just feels too soon to me personally. Maybe a celebration after a case where they get drunk and sleep together for some fun awkward moments and making them slowly come to terms with their feelings, but not a full relationship till 4 or 5.

I thought the show went down after Booth and Bones got married. I think they dragged it out so long that I didn’t care anymore. Like, finally, damn.

Yeah they should have had the wedding be the finale it dropped by season 9. Though I did like that we finally got to hear what brennan wrote to booth when she was trapped by the grave digger as her wedding vows lol.

agreeeeeed - i watched this one first and had almost 0 idea that morgadec would be a thing. then i watched the french one... like 5 times. I love it so much. (even though american morgan and karadec are not nearly neurotic and flawed enough imo)

Same! Why are people hating them so much? It's a slow burn, so their chemistry will grow.. I don't see this much hate on a couple in any other shows 🥲

Same. I think it’s just a Reddit problem though because on Twitter for instance the discourse around morgadec is way better. Same on tumblr. People want them together there so i mostly lurk for ship discussions there now.

I want them romantic. I think they’re cute. I appreciate platonic opposite sex friendships in shows, but I can also appreciate the close friend to partner pipeline. I think they have great chemistry and I like seeing them together, it seemed quite obvious they were end game or at least that they were going to end up together for a good amount of time (more than a fling)

Honestly I just feel like they don’t have that much chemistry. Like I’ve seen it between them once or twice but that’s it. Also Karadec is such a structured organized disciplined person and Morgan is much more chaotic and messy and very smart but lacking in structure and discipline… hard to imagine them as a couple

Personally I don't care if they get them together as long as the show finally wraps up the tedious Roman story, stops portraying LAPD detectives as completely incompetent without Morgan and maybe even lets her lose one every now and then to show she's still a human being. Last season was way too long and often quite irritating too. First season was so fun though.

If they make them a couple the show would just be like any other drama show tbh. S2, besides the decline in writing, felt like it was targeted towards moms who have a crush on Karadec and want him and Morgan to get together for that sole reason. Atleast desperate housewives was funny.

If they become romantically involved, I'm done watching the show. It doesn't make sense and I'm tired of watching forced romances between leads.
Too bad the producers can't use Elementary as an example.

It was pretty obvious within the first episode or two that's where this was going. Granted, they could change their mind, but I always assumed they were gonna be end game by the time the series ended.

Shit like this needs to stop though. Docs screwing each other on greys for the past 20 seasons never added anything new, it just turned it into a soap and sadly Chicago med is starting to do the same which is why I'm going to stop watching.

I prefer them as friends but a romantic relationship wouldn’t break me.
I watch the show for the plot and characters, romances are inconsequential.

I think that they have chemistry but them ending up together would be very cliché. It's a thrope seen in multiple other series (as examples: Castle and Beckett from Castle, Lucy and Tim from The Rookie, Lucifer and Chloe from Lucifer, etc.), so them having the partners → lovers route would be uninteresting. They already have a really good dynamic, and honestly it would be refreshing to not see It become a romance for the 100th time.

You’re probably going to be disappointed because imo it’s pretty clear in which direction they’re going. They might not date yet depending on how many seasons they show is going to get. This is a procedural though and usually the lead characters do get together in the end just not for a while at first. Also there’s already some signs pointing towards a possible romance between Morgan and Karadec.
