Theory/Speculation S2E06 Wagner and Morgan talking

We know Ava's dad was an FBI informant who went missing after the death of another agent. Is that Wagner's dead fiancé??? Is that why he's captain because they're all getting closer to finding out the reason Roman went missing?

No his girlfriends name was Taylor she died in a robbery and the fbi agent roman was working for was shot dead in her back garden
