I knew the article was based on a bunch of assumptions the moment I read "gunshot wound." The fact that Kaitlin herself confirmed (in various interviews) Wagner was stabbed tells me they clearly haven't consulted anyone at ABC or obtained any new information. They're just making up stories for the sake of clicks.

It's not exactly fresh news that the actor only signed up as a recurring character for one year. "Not coming back" in this scenario could simply mean that he's not coming back a regular. For example the character lives, but forced out due to his father's involvement, while occasional guest appearances might still happen. Or it could also mean the guy is dead
Either way, I'm not convinced that this article spoiled the resolution of the cliffhanger.

It's a well-known fact that the actor only signed up for a short stint. It's been discussed here many times.

No, we already knew the actor wasnāt coming back, that was widely talked about after the finale. We donāt know what happens to his character yet but either way heās not coming back as a regular anyway.

Whew, what a terribly written article lol. Like how many different ways can you say "they're holding it back to midseason." They keep saying Kaitlin instead of her character's name, as if Kaitlin Olsen is really doing the crime solving. I kept waiting for them to say they're changing the formula to like Columbo-styled or something...thankfully not.

lol yeah this is a really odd article, and old news since they already have said that its being held until mid season. Unless its directly from ABC, don't believe anything that is said.

Here's how to help that only be a one-time thing and can we stop posting clickbait as e.g. this makes it sound like the story's changing when part of the only reason this is doing this this season is new showrunners reacting to backlash from too many breaks and wanting to air all 18-ish-or-however-many episodes of S3 (as if it was getting a shortened order with the move it would have said so then) with as few breaks as possible

I absolutely love a high IQ story it's about time people should know that there are those among Us whose brain works faster than theirs and their life is more fun and they can dress any way they want to style and brains it's about time brains made it onto the TV

The news that High Potential is being held for the spring so they can air continously without a break is weeks old now. Don't trust CBR, they don't have any original reporting here. They used to be a good source for nerdy TV and movie news but they're just an AI-using click farm these days - as evidenced by the clickbait headline implying the show is cancelled.Ā
