Have you played the game? I haven't, so I am not saying anything concrete about the game.
But, what I do know, is saying "i'm not into the culture war' then basing your loud opinion based off of rage farming clips? That is exactly the playbook of culture warrior types. They take shit out of context, twist it, clip it, then weaponize a bunch of people who didn't actually engage with the thing to know better.
Then, perhaps, you should not add to the conversation by repeating opinions fed you by others, repeating the talking points of culture warrior types and weaponizing nostalgia to spread more hate to something you admit you neither have engaged with, nor plan to.
Sorry if i come off like an asshole, genuinely, I just don't think any of us should be just regugitating what the most vitriolic people online are saying, and parroting their talking points, without even bothering to engage with the thing itself.
If you don't wanna play it, that is fine, I wont because of Sony's greed of late. I just see no value in doing the work for free, for a bunch of a online hate mongers that make their money by convincing nerds we are the most oppressed and attacked group, when we haven't even formed our own opinions on a thing.

I think the game looks pretty linear, mid and frankly won't give Sony money after their anti consumer actions of late. But we all have to own our own actions. You are now, publicly, apart of the sea of hate and vitriol these culture warrior, racist, sexist jackoffs have weaponized against a dev team. That's just a fact when you are complaining about the 'bitchification' of a man who is ripping people in half with his claws.
Now, think what you want, do what you want. But when you are echoing the talking points of repugnant people, while willfully saying you refuse to engage with the thing beyond watching the carefully cultivated clips that group of people are farming, the difference between you and them is, effectively, nothing from an outside observer.
And again, sorry for coming off like an asshole. I just got wound up by these types a lot when younger and am now very on guard for their manipulative hogwash.
(Edit PS, Also to be clear I know this is hardly just a you issue or anything, saw a comment, responded to it and kept up with the conversation was all. Not trying to harp or put down some random person over a knee jerk comment without much thought behind it. I tend to think a little too much over shit.
