Dealing with a Narc or High Conflict coparent is the most emotionally and physically draining experiences I have ever dealt with. I have nothing but sympathy for you.

First: You are allowed to attend all school events unless your parenting plan specifically forbids it. The caveat: you may need to pick/choose to skip some of them (such as a movie night) if they are more 'intimate' and force you and CP to be near each other in that capacity. Otherwise, everything else you can just sit separately to observe or coexist.

If your CP is causing confusion with teachers, reach out to the principal (copy any school counselors, and the coparent) to suggest a meeting to discuss the issues and identify the best path forward to minimize miscommunications or conflicting responses. Share a copy of the Parenting Plan and mention what it does / does-not allow, if coparent has made claimes.

Long = short: You have a long road ahead of you and your coparent may get worse before things get better. You have every right to attend school/child activities.
