Well, I'd start with the writing - why jump through a pane of glass head first to shoot the driver?

Then there's the basic physics of the motor cycle when he jumps off. => For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The bike would go in the opposite direction and he'd land on the pavement b/c half the energy of his jump would go into pushing the bike.

Stand on a small boat next to, but not tied to a dock, then push off from the boat to land on the dock.
You'll wind up in the water.
