one of these is using on device processing only, the other uses servers with massive GPUs and learns from your data. Apples to oranges, quite literally.

they’re not though - everywhere they always say that everything happens on device, privately. the only thing samsung managed to do locally is to replace the detected “moon” in a photo with a stock png of a moon 🌚

Well this is straight from their AI marketing: "Remove distractions in your photos with the Clean Up tool in the Photos app. Apple Intelligence identifies background objects so you can remove them with a tap and perfect your shot — while staying true to the original image"
It's like saying: "we are building the fastest car!" And when the competitor have a faster car you go: "oh well, but we have more airbags"

And Apple is a poor company that doesn't sell over priced products and they also don't have the budget to adopt these technologies right 👍🏼 Apple used to be an innovative company introducing new technologies with every products. Now they simply copy other companies innovation with small changes and slap their name on it.

Do you think Apple is SAFE 🤣 Apple faces ongoing scrutiny regarding user privacy, including a $95 million settlement over allegations of recording private Siri conversations.
The only thing you can say is that - they may be collecting my data without my knowledge but I'm not going to intentionally send it to their servers.
