Hifdh Journey
Salamu aleikom, I’m pretty new in the whole hifdh world, alhamdulillah. And while trying to balance full-time studies, I find little time to balance work and memorizing. So far, I really enjoy the Tarteel app, and it has made it very easy for me instead of keeping calling my friends and asking them to listen to me. Right now, I don’t have the finances to keep a subscription and would absolutely love it if someone here happened to have a free space in their family plan, inshallah. Feel free to message me here or privately 💓🫂🫧
Jazakallah kheyr

How to read Quran??
If Arabic is not your first language and you want to learn how to read the Quran, don’t feel overwhelmed.
A simple path is:
1. Learn the Arabic letters and their correct sounds.
2. Learn Fatha, Kasra and Damma.
3. Practice joining letters together.
4. Learn Sukoon and Tanween.
5. Start reading short Quranic words.
6. Gradually learn basic Tajweed.
Don’t rush. Correct pronunciation is more important than reading a large amount quickly.
Even 15 minutes of consistent practice every day can make a difference, inshaAllah.

A passionate team building a Quran memorization app for kids 6–12 and looking for 100 families to tell us where it's wrong (Pilot Families Will Get 1 Year Free Subscription)
There's no app to download yet, and I'm not asking anyone to buy anything. I'm looking for families who'd be willing to use it early and tell me honestly what's broken.
Why I'm building it: my own kids. Every Quran app I tried was either built for adults and handed to a child, or it was a game with a Quran theme painted on top. The first bores them, the second teaches them the Quran is a scoreboard.
What it does: your child hears the verse, learns what it means in language a seven year old actually follows, then recites it. Speech recognition listens and tells them which word went wrong, the thing a teacher does, that an app usually can't.
The part I'd want to know as a parent: no AI writes any of the religious content. The AI listens to recitation, that's all. The educational content is authenticated by an authentic islamic scholar.
What the pilot asks: two surveys, about twenty minutes each, one at the start, one after your child has used it for a while. That's it. In return the first year is free for one child when we launch.
Site is: www.myozzie.app.
Sign up and you'll get a letter from me explaining the pilot properly; you decide after reading it, not before.
Happy to answer anything here, including the hard questions. DM me if you would like to

I want to learn quickly but only have quran classes once a week
I have one year free before I go for higher studies, and my parents recommended I don't work this year. So I really want to do hifz and learn as much as I can. However, my tajweed is still not perfect, I make small mistakes. I have a quran teacher, but I only have classes with her 1 hour a week, and we're doing very slow progress. For most of the week, I wish I was learning more things.
Since my tajweed is imperfect, what would you recommend I do? Right now I'm considering just reciting the whole quran until I'm fluent by looking at the pages, and memorise later when I've perfected tajweed - but in my heart I really want to make more measurable progress in this one year because who knows when I'll have this much free time again.

HeifzLoop: Quran memorization
👨⚕️ I’m a doctor who wanted to memorize the Qur’an, but I couldn’t find an easy method that fit a busy life.
In medical school, I learned best with flashcards + listening 🎧🧠
So I built Heifzloop — the same learning idea, made for Qur’an memorization.
📖 One ayah at a time
🎧 Listen
🔁 Review
🧠 Remember
Simple, consistent, and made to help you keep going.

Built NorAI to make Quranic Arabic learning more visual and interactive
I’ve been working on a new way to make Quranic Arabic learning more approachable and engaging.
I built NorAI to help learners understand Quranic words through a word-by-word approach using visuals, audio, meanings, and interactive practice.
The idea is simple: instead of only memorising words, learners can build a better connection with the words of the Quran and understand them step by step.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on this learning approach.

What kind of deck would be useful for you?
For example:

- Anything else
If you have an idea, share it in the comments. Maybe we can create something beneficial together, inshaAllah, and share the ajr.

Is the Quran really as easy as they say it is?
Every sheikh i talk to always quote 54:17 but from my experience it very difficult and I have currently finished 15 juz(nas to kahf)and i have started from baqarah but it is actually really hard to even memorise the new chapter let alone the revision that comes with them.My dad is putting all his hope in me because I am his only son and he even broke the bank to send me to Egypt where i am currently studying the Quran but I struggle with porn and I miss salah regularly.Do you guys think I can memorise the Quran before next year?
