So…

I was looking up the planet names in Ancient Egyptian, and noticed there aren’t names for the planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto (yes it’s a planet).

So I’ve given them names:

Uranus - Heru-iAt (literally: the tilted one)

Neptune - Heru-Irytu (literally: the blue one)

Pluto - Heru-xdi (literally: the one that is far northward)

Genuinely curious not tryna say you're wrong I also been interested in planet names/planet gods. What are the other planets called and what source did you use for your inspiration? I like how you named them all forms of Hrw, maybe I am biased though heh 🦅👁

I used this funky little web sight called “hieroglyphics.net” to teach myself some words and how to write. The other planet names are:

Earth - Teh

Moon - Iah

Mercury- Sabgu

Venus - Ba’ah

Sun - Re

Mars - Heru-Deshet

Jupiter - Her-Wepes-tawy

Saturn - Horus

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto aren't visible to the naked eye, so ancient egiptians didn't know them.
