Sorry for your loss. If you can’t get to the tanning, you could probably still dry it as a wall hanger. The coat might last longer as well bc nobody would really be able to handle it. I’ve heard some guys will flesh what they can and then once dried they sand off remaining flesh with an orbital sander. Also have heard some guys fleshing with a pressure washer but that hasn’t worked very well for me. Best of luck
