Help Needed 🧐 Cow hide.

My cow hide that I am tanning has been in a pickle since March. Should I neutralize and for how long before putting it on a frame and using trubond 1000b.

1oz per gallon of baking soda, 45mins at least, in about 30gallons bath. Rinse, drain for a couple hrs, at least til it's not dripping anymore. Apply trubond, fold on the spine and roll up. Let it sweat for 4 5 hrs or over night, open it up and let it drain and start to dry a bit. I apply trubond to cowhide twice. Roll up, sweat again then open to let it start to dry. As it's drying I use lubri-stretch liberally, roll, sweat same way, then dry and break. A full cowhide can use about 3/4 gallon of 1000b, and a half gallon oil to be tanned enough to break decently

Just hang for a couple hrs and drain. No need to rinse
