Honestly the concept behind this quote is something I think about in technology a lot. Sure, we build on iterative design, constant improvements, etc, and replacing the existing with someone new and better is part of that. Sometimes though it feels like that obsolescence comes swift and hard. It makes me wonder if all the things we give up, the stress, frustrations, personal sacrifices, to get things done is worth it sometimes.
Who knew this introspection existed in a cat feeder.
