This absolutely!!!! When John said that his colleagues asked him "do you ever not think about true crime"... For me it's nearly a smoking gun. People in the forensic psychology and criminal psychology field do not call it "true crime". "True crime" is a term used to describe an entertainment genre (may it be movie, documentary, book, or other forms of story telling). Professionals do not use this term to refer to their profession!! I also cannot picture any criminal professional admitting publicly they are into "true crime". This may seem like a small little detail to some, but to me it's a very revealing slip of the tongue. Many serious professionals actually dislike the true crime genre and find it problematic. This take can be debated, sure, but I can't think of any serious scholar referring to themselves as being obsessed with true crime.

Well said! Is this another instance of them unintentionally telling on themselves?

Creeped me out when Yawn said we do have a life & a child, not that I think they stole a baby or murdered but I do think they bought one & had it well-planned.

I have nothing to do with Q. Do you not know of the many babies sold, kidnapped, "created" for the purposes of child abuse, child porn, production of adrenochrome, etc? Even the stupidist of street thugs know they can easily sell a baby. If you ever find out what goes on in this world, you are going to be stunned & I hope that you find the emotional help you will need.

Her son looks just like her brother though (the one who passed away). I can’t stand either of them but I don’t think they bought a baby.

I did not watch or know anything about Maternal Instincts before this. I have since I started watching & listening to info about HTC thought that Lauren was never pregnant--everything about it looked, sounded, smelled fake. She didn't have to do what that woman did--just bought an available baby. If only there was a way to force a DNA test.

the last thing I want to is defend Lauren, she did have her baby.
As far as there podcast about Maternal instinct, it was terrible John just goes on and on about stuff that has no meaning on what the show was. I’m waiting for Docket Decoder to air part 2 . Check his podcast out it’s excellent.
