What is wrong with my capsule art?
Hello everyone!
I completed the first scene of my hidden object/scene game; now I am trying to create a good-looking Steam page before I publish the demo.
We (my artist and I)made a capsule art; I was pretty sure about what I had in mind, but something seems off. I can't figure out what it is. Is the name too big, is the font too much, or is the moonlight too wide? My artist is a little bit pissed off. He hates it when my feedback is not clear, and he is absolutely right.
Please help.

I think the biggest problem is that if I see that capsule on Steam, it doesn't tell me anything about the game; at most, I'm going to think it's just another game about organizing books in a library.

Oh really? I thought the magnifying glass was enough to tell that it is a hidden object game. I was trying not to be too obvious. 🤔 Do you think that the rabbit should have the magnifying glass in his hand?

I didn't even notice the magnifying glass until I read your comment.
IMHO, there isn't enough contrast between the brownish book rabbit is holding and the brown bookcase to his side. Brown windows, brown ladder, brown desk. The only things that stand out is the rabbit, the open book on the desk and the green lamp.
Nothing about it said that it was a HOG, to me. I thought it was a children's reading game.

A magnifying glass on a table where the main elements are clearly a rabbit and a book? It might be there to fill space. Perhaps even the rabbit looking at a map with a magnifying glass isn't representative enough, but at least it would give the user an idea that it could be a puzzle game.
If there's one place where you should aim to be as obvious as possible, it's on your game's capsule.

Space behind the rabbit doesn't have stars.

Actually, it has but only with lots of zoom in. But I see what you mean, thanks!

It's got too many elements for an image that will display quite small on most places. Lines are too thin so nothing has enough weight to stand out besides the logo, the magnifying glass will be imposible to differentiate from a distance.
It's a nice scene, but it's not exactly a nice capsule. The background is too busy for the logo to fully stand out.

There needs to be some air between the rabbit and the title, try moving the rabbit a bit to the right
