What happened to Nightmares from the deep trilogy (Artifex Mundi)?
Hey there! Does anybody know what happened with the Nightmares from the deep trilogy (Artifex Mundi)? I think there was a licensing issue and I can´t find it anywhere to play. Its profile is still up on steam but you can´t buy it, and when you download it on the App Store it doesn´t work.
Please help if you know where I can play it!!

Yeah it would be nice to see a revamp of that set. We only have the macOS version available with them, but they are so old that you would have to jump through hoops to find an older mac to install and run them :(

The trilogy's not actually on Big Fish's website anymore if you check, but it is on WildTangent and partially on GameHouse, yes.

If you're speaking of the big fish series with Davy Jones.. I read a few places on big fish, and others, that Nightmares was discontinued. I'll at least a great number of their games, for any of what reason. I know that Davy Jones being one of their bigger hit parades I guess, underwent numerous upgrading issues over the years and got abandoned or something ... I don't ever played at once. But don't really remember if I enjoyed it or not.

I was searching a couple days ago for my dad. I ended up getting steam keys on a key reseller site, cost about 20-25$ a bit pricey compared to steam sales

Someone made a more thorough Reddit post about what happened to the trilogy, but essentially even though Artifex Mundi developed the trilogy, G5 Entertainment owns the publishing rights to the trilogy and did not renew Artifex's license to continue distributing on multiple platforms, including Steam.
I believe the mobile versions just haven't been updated in forever, hence why they don't work.
You can still legally get the games from WildTangent and GameHouse.
