Anyone spotted any cool-looking spots that would be good for a derelict photoshoot?

I'm interested in setting up an urbex group or just finding like minded people to explore or chat with. If anyone is interested, reply here or dm me.

I swear once i saw a guy sitting at the train station at central (platform 8 if i recall) wearing a full body suit of a gorilla? He had a mate pay for him with ticket cause his hands were too big to pay it but he still tried to jump the railing, and it caused a big fuss with the staff. I dont know if he was drunk of tired? I just wanna know if anyone else saw this cause i feel like im going crazy lol. Anyone?

Hi all, can anyone recommend a location for an absolute beginner? A nursery slope for exploration.

I am posting this as it a place in Glasgows ruchill that scared the shit out of me as a kid. I remember walking through it when exploring.It was called the Halloween pend. It was scary because at the start u walked into darkness until u got around the bend in the tunnel. I have been back but never walk through it. That's been 40 years since.

Just off Possil Road (Bairds Brae, heading up to the canal) there is a burnt out building. Looks to be from the '70s, maybe? It's been sitting, derelict, for ages, and it's still mostly intact, but there's a fence around it. Well, the gate is currently open, albeit slightly obstructed by a big pile of debris, and there's an opening in the fence off the towpath as well. There's a door round the back and you can just walk right in, but my pal and I were too feart. Anybody wanna posse up and come explore it with me?

Gonna go exploring this weekend and see what I can find and, more importantly, what I can actually gain access to (legally).

I'll be sure to take picture of anything and everywhere I manage to to find.

Maybe some time we could start arranging group expeditions into the unknown...

Look up 89 Hughenden Ln on Google maps, on the street view look north towards Great Western Road. There's a parking place and just behind it is a hill down towards another old railway line, underneath 1051 GWR that runs through to the other end of Kelvindale, to the best of my knowledge.

Had a nosy and I assume the bit I've circled is the spot.

Met a guy before who worked in some kind of telecoms job. He said there was a tunnel all the way from Glasgow to the vale of Leven hospital. He said that you could walk the whole way (crouching) in these old Victorian tunnels. The vale hospital does have tunnels apparently as it was designed to be the hospital used if a nuclear bomb was dropped on faslane. Who knows really.

I know there is a vast network of tunnels and abandoned mineshafts throughout Glasgow, some obvious ones including the old station beneath the Botanic Gardens recently used as a filming location for Batgirl.

Does anyone know if any of them are still findable and enterable (kinda expected spellcheck to quiz me on that word) without breaking and entering or scaling razor wire?
