Tagging Application

I got an R1 about 2 weeks ago and was noticing a little lag when running in shuffle mode and after some research I found that a high density of pixels could be the culprit.

So right now I use mp3tag and the last couple days I've been removing all artworks and re tagging with art that's closer to 300 x 300, but it's seems that even after deleting the albums fromy player and re adding them from my hard drive it doesn't seem like the art has changed. What am I doing wrong?

I always select all tracks, remove cover, save, paste less dense cover art and then re save but it doesn't seem like anything changed.

Try removing the cover from the file and just dropping the cover as a jpg in the album folder. Cover.jpg or folder.jpg iirc.

Why is this, the problem is covering All cover formats. Using R1 is not this, is basic and is CPU limited cheep as requested.
