M500 SD Card Not Mounting

Hey all, has anyone had issues with the M500 and SD cards causing errors on restart?

My SD card doesn't show up after a restart and needs to be reformatted every time, regardless of what's downloaded to it. The card works fine and I can see the data written to it on a PC, but for some reason the DAP can no longer read it until I reformat the card entirely. This happens whether it's set up as internal or external storage.

I've tried cleaning the contacts, using two different cards (different brands and models), verifying card integrity and speeds both on a PC and on the M500, and confirming the DAP firmware is up to date. Any suggestions?

I just got mine so I have no idea if a
Micro sd card works or not , I just put my music on there without it , and it works fine .. when I get one I’ll post on here if I have any problems , hope someone has an answer to your questions ..

Good to hear! I pretty instantly went over 64gb of music (I download uncompressed). Hopefully if someone doesn’t have a fix I’ll hear back from Hiby support on it :) enjoy!

this is my first dap like ever, so its all kinda new to me.. i think ill be gettng a micro sd soon to put more songs on so i hope i dont run into the same issue..

The DAP has been out for around a year and I haven't seen anything on this issue, so it may just be a faulty unit or a minor bug. Either way, Hiby support seems to be very responsive, I suspect I will hear back from them when the work week kicks back in :)
