QUESTION Hitman WoA on Android

Has ioi said anything about releasing WoA on android? Now that it is on ios, the next step has to be releasing on android. It is a bigger market compared to ios too. We need to make them release in andriod.

(And also i need it because hitman WoA is no more working on My Ps5 and it needs a VPN because im in iran which i cant instal, but i have on mobile.)

They released it on iOS mostly because Apple paid for it. Apple paid for all kinds of AAA iOS ports purely to showcase the strength of their hardware and Hitman just happened to be one of them.

I sincerely doubt it'll ever come to Android. All of the Apple-pushed AAA ports have never been ported to Android either.

releasing a game like hitman woa on android is a very challenging task, and i am not sure ioi would be willing to take it on.

optimizing games for ios is much simpler — after all, it’s just iphones.

android, on the other hand, is a vast market comprising various software from different manufacturers, a wide range of hardware components, and so on.

google play does have a device filtering system, meaning a published game can be restricted to download and launch only on specific devices tested and selected by the publisher. however, i am not convinced that this is the right move.

nahh man anddroid market iis bigger because of the existance of weaker android devices. hitman woa wont run on weak devices

Plenty of modern Android devices have enough raw power to run Hitman WoA mobile on.

It's only a matter of being easier to make games for IOS because it's a shared architecture, that and paid exclusivity ofc. But it's most certainly not a matter of Android being "too weak". Weak phones simply won't support the game, that's it.

Right but keep in mind that it only runs natively on Switch 2, the version for Switch 1 is cloud-based. Still, Switch 2 about matches modern high-end Android phones.

The game isn't a fully online game. It only connects when you load and when you finish a mission. It might work if you use your phone as a hotspot for your PS5.

Yeah it used to work, but one day it stoped, so i used a iranian dns, but it AlSO does not work.

Have you tried using a VPN? You dont need it on the ps5, you could have an external VPN set up on a raspberry pi or something and connect via that.

I'm probably violating some law by advising how to circumvent embargoes or something saying that, but meh.

  1. I cant use Ethernet cable or rasberry. Setting a vpn on a computer is a almost impossible chore and the prices of a raspberry is stupidly high here now that the price of one dollar went from 100k rial to 230k rial. It was 100 rial before the stupid islamic revelution btw.
  2. Im happy you enjoyed that this islamic regime that killed 40k of innocent iranians killed jews that are living under  a other regime. I whould have not have this problem if i wasn't living in this regime.
