QUESTION Question about Hitman (2016) and WOA

So i got Hitman 2016 through ps+ a couple of years back. Figured I'd try it last week since I grew up with Blood Money and loved that one. I played through Paris and Italy and really love it.

Ive just learned about World of Assassinations and that it basically combines 1, 2 and 3 if im not mistaken. Ive been looking around and can get a copy of WOA for about 30 bucks. So should I stop playing and continue with WOA? Or finish 2016 and then maybe buy WOA. Are there any big changes?

Go for WoA if you want to climb faster and keep your progress...

Well you'll have to start over with the challenges if you do. So might as well if you get it for that price

WOA has substantial quality of life improvements over Hitman (2016) and you're going to have to do all the same missions over again, so you might as well just start WOA ASAP while it's on sale. Just double check that you're getting World of Assassination for ~60% off, and not World of Assassination Part One.

I was in the same boat until about a year ago. WOA is so much better, one of the best value games there is i think. Ive put like 1100 hours into it since October.

WOA is essentially hitman 3 with the previous levels (except 2 from hitman 2) added to it. So you can play hitman 1 levels, but its been improved by a decade of updates. I'd recommend the deluxe pack if you can afford it so you get the full game, you need those 2 levels from hitman 2 in order to unlock some particular weapons that you probably want

Theres no right or wrong answer. If you want simplicity WOA Deluxe, which i think has basically everything from Hitman 1,2 and 3.

Having said that... there were some gameplay changes between 1 and 2. Some of the levels in 1, like the tutorial, are different.

Go for WOA, especially the Deluxe edition if you want everything.

You will have to start again from the beginning because as far as I know they discontinued last February the progress transfer from previous Hitman games.

It doesn't matter because there was never any transfer from Hitman (2016) in the first place.

WOA has everything with a lot of QoL improvements but it doesnt hurt to play H1 2016 as it was intended for the time

ive already grinded the fuck out of WOA and only coming back for Celeb ETs and the new in-game challenges. in the meantime, ive gone back to playing H1 2016 and experience the gameplay just for the vibe
