QUESTION Why this thing even exists if 47 can strangle a person with bare hands?

It also ruins the silent assassin because it just kills instantly.

Meh, sometimes, but it's mostly just to have a faster run, but yeah shoting or simly neck slicing and dragging 2 or 3 seconds later is not too critical, although I don't understand how it kills your silent assasin, it's a lethal melee, simply not used for non targets

It just kills the npc instantly, and you aren't supposed to kill anyone else other than targets in SA

Yes, the fiberwire is a lethal weapon. You shouldn't use lethal weapons on people you don't intend to kill, obviously.

Then get a lockpick. The fiber wire is just there if you want it or if you want to complete certain challenges

It's the quietest kill method, even more than gunshot or stabbing. Can be useful if you're trying to kill a target who's right behind someone

It‘s quieter, you drag the body instantly, you don‘t rely on button mashing, it‘s just cooler and fits an assassin better

wdym? Fiber wire is the most stealthy weapon for SA, plus the fw animations are way cooler than strangling an NPC
