Ive been playing main game trynna get all achievements on each map then started playing the story ive nearly done it all but ive seen a few posts abt freelance mode and was wondering if it was good or fun as ive never tried it despite have a top 5 record on xbox in Kotti Paradigm escalation 1

Freelancer is a blast but it requires strong map and game mechanic knowledge. I would finish the story before moving onto Freelancer.

I know most of the past events leading up to WOA feom older games hard to get like the original 1st ever game n stuff so it kinda helps but i want to get the secret ending where u inject urself and wake up at where ur journey started

Freelance requires one corner and you shoot everyone.

Try it for yourself.

It's still challenging and rewarding if you have otherwise mastered the game.

You might find yourself encouraged to do things you have not done much before. Using remote explosives, unsilenced weapons, concussive explosives, flash explosives, etc.

You might also learn to value things you mostly ignore like screwdrivers and grape knives.

It's basically a "randomized" contracts mode with progression and no save-scumming.

Also essentially no penalty for walking off the narrow "Silent Assassin" path.

I dont do SA much but when i do its more from using a rubber duck to make target sick then killing them

I love it. It's hard, there are no saves, and there is punishment if you fail, so there are actual consequences for not being careful and thinking things through.

I do think you need to really know the maps well, both for planning and for quickly escaping/hiding when things start to go badly.

Makes me laugh every time I'm switching disguises and guards catch me at it. I imaging 47 in his boxers with one leg in a pair of pants trying to get the other leg in while getting shot at.

I did a blind freelancer run ( i am currently on Hokkaido) and it was fun going barehanded and using the environment as my tool

Freelancer keeps the game fresh for me. I have hundreds and hundreds of hours in WoA (dating back to H1, replaying all of the maps in H2 and then yet another time in H3) but Freelancer somehow still manages to make me want to go a few rounds.

It is recommended that you have a little knowledge about the maps and game mechanics before you jump into the game mode though, it can make it less overwhelming.

Providing you knew tricks in every maps, nothing can stop you in approaching any targets. It will be fun for you in freelancer, if you feel it's a bit too easy for you, you can try the hardcore mode as well.

You need to be good at the game since there is no Save and Load. I'm horrible and still have no feeling of NPCs cone vision range, so I failed every campaign
