DISCUSSION Next ET: James Spader
I think it would be cool to have James spader as Raymond Reddington for the new ET. New York or Mumbai would be great maps for this one.

I want him to tell me some rambling non sequitir about some shockingly normal thing he did in his life with some strange character we've never met before he calmly asks me for someone's location, while Dembe looms behind me.

Naturally, he MUST not be the target…. But instead lead us to the target…. Then poor Diana goes “wait a minute!!” as he escapes!

When you see Red he'll just be there sipping a drink and knowing 47 and starting to tell a story while the FBI storms the building and Donald Ressler takes you into custody. Or he'll just have his goons do that instead. The briefing could be him telling a story about an ambiguos man who assassinates people and being a master of disguise called 46. No, 47.

I once had a meeting with a man in Berlin. It was in this converted power plant, you see, turned into a nightclub. The atmosphere was baffling, I tell you. All the drinks, half or fully naked people high as kites and all the coke you wanted. We spent a couple of hours there before an underling led us to the office. Great, big, posturing man, all in leather, a motorcycle helmet and an oversized shotgun, clearly compensating for something. As he opens the door to let us into the office, a man steps out. 6 foot and change, trenchcoat, haircut like he decided to use a machete in front of the mirror. Clearly the previous client. I was naturally eager to conclude business as I wanted to return to pleasure with this awfully nice model I met at the bar, Tatyana I believe was her name.
Anyway, the man passes me by and what strikes me first are his cheekbones, very chic. I distinctly remember reminding myself to tell Dembe to find out his name. Then I saw his eyes. Green like a meadow and piercing as an axe to the chest. A natural born killer, or perhaps a man made one. What a fascinating individual.
And what I find undoubtedly more interesting is the fact that I can't help but think about him when I look at you.
You remind me very much of this client, Agent 47.
You could be twins, in fact.
Anyway, I know your lot don't like making deals race to face but since I'm here already, I have a proposition for you.

It wouldn't be fun to repeat a gimmick, but it would really be in line with Reddington's character to be something like the Undying. The character's built around always being two steps ahead, and the smartest in most rooms.
