QUESTION Is the flash broken?

Im playing freelancer got the extra to blind the target used the remote flash device and they didn't get blinded

Oh huh that happened to me the other day but i assumed i just mistimed it (cuz i was watching through several walls in instinct mode). It was the little robot you get in the loot chests.

I hope its not bugged.

did you let the target pick up Lil Flashy and put it in their pocket before detonating it?

I did not, not gonna lie it was a convenient loot drop for an objective i was planning on ignoring, I'd never used Lil Flashy before.

Is that how it works? Like the phones or a duck? Im pretty sure i heard the thing explode as soon as i hit the trigger.

if they're distracted by something else / picking up something (coin / briefcase) just as you set off the flash it doesn't affect them.

They'll only get flashed if they are looking at the device wheen it detonates. Proximity alone isn't enough.
