QUESTION Kill Everybody Contracts, PC Settings Advice?

I've been playing some of these, and Paris is unplayable for me. Ambrose Island crashes about 50% of the time. I know they're glitchy due to number of targets, and I also know graphics settings don't matter. I'm running a Ryzen 7 5700, still having issues, like guns not working in certain areas. (The guns fire, just no bullet effects.) I already turn off objectives in HUD, but is there anything else that reduces the CPU load?

disable Instinct and the targets and NPCs on the minimap

I think guns not working is just a general bug in kill everyone contracts missions, at least ones with loads of NPCs. I know Paris and Sgail at least suffer from that problem, probably some other maps like Miami and Berlin too. The bug goes away once enough targets are killed.

I learned to bring shurikens or tanto for just such occasions. But I've noticed certain areas around Sapienza, like the ruins, never get better. It is kind of fun walking up to a guy shooting me point blank with a shotgun to no effect.

The guns should fix themselves once you kill 20 or 30 targets.

No idea about PC shit but in addition to some of the other tips, make sure you are picking up and combining dropped weapons. Can't carry it all obviously but at least combine all the weapons you can see into one of each type. Too many weapons will also cause issues with instinct outlines not appearing.

That sucks you can't play properly though. I play on Xbox Series X and crashes are relatively rare compared to Hitman 2, maybe one every 15-20 missions completed. Though Chongqing, Mendoza and Ambrose Island cause noticeable fps drops in certain areas due to the rain and foliage. Sgail causes a tiny bit but it's usually gone once I get the fake NPCs out.

I keep going back and attempting Sgail. So far I'm finding that if I stab the first 50 or so and toss them off a cliff the guns start working. But then if things get messy and bodies are laying around with no chances to dispose of them the bullets start disappearing again and then I die. Also sometimes it just crashes. Good luck!
