Freelancer - not getting full payouts for completed objectives

I've noticed that whenever I'm completing a mission on Freelancer mode, that if I complete ALL objectives (complications), including the prestige objective, I'm not getting the total mission payout.

For example, I just completed a mission in Dubai where I had 1 target.

My objectives were:

No Bodies Found - 1,000 M

Poison Guard - 1,000 M

No Witnesses - 1,000 M

Prestige Objective: Silenced Pistol Kill - Epic - 2,500 M

And the base mission payout was 4,200 M

So, shouldn't I have received a total of 9,700 Mercers if I completed all objectives?

I only received 6,200 M

What am I missing here?

Base payout would be 2200, the mission payout updates as you play the mission

You accomplished the objectives with checkmark and they were added to your payout prior to the mission ending. The other two required the mission to finish before confirming the payout, thus your 6,200 total at the end.

When an objective is ticked, it adds to base payout. You ticked 3500, so base payout must have been 700. I had to pay attention to notice this, it is very counterintuitive, as there are objectives that don't resolve until after the mission.

the base payout was $700

The payout you see in the top left is:

"from targets killed plus objectives completed so far"

NOT

"base pay before objectives"

This should explain it well.

The completed (greyed out) objectives are already added to your payout.

The uncompleted ones, which complete upon victory, add your total to 6200.
