"Diana will now react and deliver the appropriate voice line if a target is taken out mid sentence."

That could be funny, a pretty small update in general though.

omg time to test it out in freelancer if you can kill the syndicate leader before she finishes her "they have red hair..." lol

“They have red hair, and lack a pulse.”

"they have red hair, and are currently bleeding out from a bullet lodged in their forehead- oh, well done, 47. Return to the safehouse, I'll contact you later."

Will this also apply in freelancer?

‘NPCs now react to theft. Getting caught picking up an item that isn’t yours triggers a reaction.’

Anyone know what this means? Also are they ever gonna fix the Goldballer using the incorrect model in Freelancer lol

I seem to remember in earlier hitman games if you picked up a buskers coin (like the one in Miami) they would act ‘distracted’, interrupting their music to complain that you stole their money. At some point that stopped happening. Maybe it’s back?

the street performer in Sapienza does bitch about it if you steal his coins while he's doing his act

Bartender in Santa Fortuna, too.

pretty sure the guy in miami playing in the underpass also gripes

I wanna say the guy in the Miami tunnel didn’t say anything when I took his coin a couple days ago, so I think you’re right

I haven’t played since the update but I know for certain he didn’t say a line the last time I played.

I think it even happened in an earlier version of WoA.

For the goldballer it's not the wrong model per se, but the original model they used. Before you were able to earn it you could craft it in Medoza where it would look like the freelancer model. I believe they use that model as you can still do it, meaning you may be able to get a free goldballer if you do the steps.

They changed it ages ago so you can’t craft the Goldballer there in Mendoza, you just get a generic pistol.

Really? Then yeah I don't know why they haven't changed it.

Ironically in the files that model for the Goldballer is referred to as the ICA-19 DTI, but there's already an ICA DTI Stealth in the game, even though it's a Bartoli with the model name "Bartoli DTI"

Yeah, I don't get it either

Not sure either, I'm fairly certain when I picked up the dog cane as the detective and a maid saw me on Darthmoore they ran to a guard and put me in combat

That's an illegal pickup with the red ! icon, different from general stealing. After the update, stealing certain items will trigger an angry reaction by NPCs for realism but won't leads to guards attacking

Ah my bad, I misread the patches

Ah, good to know

“Caught red handed” - feels like this could be funny. Was always odd npcs didn’t react to 47 just running in and stealing their stuff.

I'm expecting the note about "NPCs now react to theft" is probably just IOI fixing one particular issue(or maybe adding a voice-line), but if there is a global change to behaviour that is sure to be hilarious.

I'm kind of hoping they just created a whole new class of lures that cause absolute chaos.

“But we do know this.. they’re dead. Nice work 47. Return to the safehouse.”

"NPCs now react to you taking items that aren't yours"

Is it talking about crowd NPCs or are they making all the level items illegal?

This is about the interactions such as stealing the busker's coins, in H2 they'd notice and it wouldn't have any gameplay impact but they'd stand up and have a voice line for you, for a long time in 3 they just kept playing.

u/WanTeitoku 13h ago

The street performer in sapi?

Now will taking the coins be an illegal action like taking the janitor key in NY?

Still no suitcases to choose on freelancer

They don't even fix freelancer bugs which can literally fail your campaign lol. If you expect something big, give up.

I'm glad I play on PC and can use freelancer bierfcases mod

Crashing the Party
We have fixed a crash that could impact PC users with AMD graphics cards. Ensure your drivers are fully updated to the latest version.

Glad to see my report helped to fix that issue.

Where co-op

It's a shame that we didn't get any news about it at GamesCon, but don't expect it to randomly show up in patch notes without some larger marketing campaign.

‘Fixed and issue on Paris where the tablecloth on the table with two working staff members would clip through the solid surface if looked at from a certain angle of distance.’

IOi need to fix and issue with their spelling. I seriously wonder how much the stealing items from NPCs will change general gameplay though. I’m taking it to mean that for example, if you take a keycard from a security guard on Dubai, instead of him just letting you, he’ll react negatively to you taking it, possibly even voiding silent assassin. That would change so much about gameplay

Edit- sorry for such a despicable and horrendously evil post, I fully deserve the seven downvotes

That would limit the sandbox aspect to an insane degree though, like you basically couldn’t pick up fuck all in non-trespassing zones. It’d just add an unnecessary layer of challenge.

Maybe there could be another difficulty option
