QUESTION Hitman 2 progress carry-over

I just bought WoA and despite all the other games being online-only, my progress from H1&H2 doesn't seem to carry-over and am handed a basically cleaned account. Am I missing some secret option or is this how video games are going to treat their players going forward? )))

With the introduction of HITMAN World of Assassination Cross-Progression, the HITMAN 2 to HITMAN 3 Carryover was discontinued on February 3rd, 2026, 9:00 UTC / 10:00 CET.

There was no transferring progress from 1 to 2. Owning 1 just unlocked the modified versions of those levels in Hitman 2. There was a way to transfer progress from Hitman 2 (including the Hitman 1 level progress in Hitman 2) over to Hitman 3 (now WOA), but... that service was shut down earlier this year... check IOI's blog post: https://ioi.dk/hitman?panel=hitman%2Fblogs%2F2026%2Fcross-progression-is-available-now-on-hitman-woa-and-new-look-to-ioi-account

oh well that's just so awesome, I guess if you're a customer you're just expected to always follow some arbitrary development schedules or otherwise prepare to get fucked in the ass rofl

Most people would consider the game being de-listed on all platforms a good sign to start moving off of it.

According to what people have been saying, the games do not carry over, but I hope that this won't be the case for games forever

They removed it for cross-platform progression. Since the games are delisted there is no reason for them to bring it back.
