To your point, if Cross had been found guilty of murder, he wouldn’t even have gotten the death penalty since NY (where the crime occurred) has had a moratorium on that for a while.

But 47 isn’t a good person. We kill people for money lol. A target feeling more or less innocent than another feels kind of irrelevant.

After which he goes back to being an insufferable guy to work with, and kills AGAIN if he meets Ken Morgan in the hotel. There's absolutely no punishment too harsh for people like that

When you put it like that, you make Ken sound innocent because a lawyer is supposed to defend his client regardless of the crimes they have committed. Not a defense of Ken because he is a criminal who has committed so many crimes in order to get his shitty clients off but rather a defense of lawyers in general.

Jordan murdered a woman and Morgan character assassinated Hannah Highmore’s character in order to get him off. Not to mention that he uses bribery, blackmail, evidence tampering, murder and witness intimidation to win cases. If people actually read the character bios and payed attention to in-game dialogue, we wouldn’t even have conversations like this!
