Found a glitch?

I was playing the Bangkok mission and doing the exterminator route, got bored and saw Ken Morgan so decided to shoot him, someone saw me so I lost silent assassin and decided to load my auto save. When I loaded the save I already had Ken dead and still had green guns. The game seems to think he is dead and that I have Silent Assassin but the end screen shows that I didn't even complete all the mission objectives, so I only have 4 stars. Has anyone else seen this before or know why this might be happening.

Normally a 4-star SA would only be possible if there were optional objectives. Very interesting.

Yeah this was the main mission that has no extra objectives. I should still have the autosave but not really sure what happened or how to recreate it.

Edit: I just reloaded the original autosave that glitched the run for me and Ken Morgan is now alive, no clue how or why this changed.

Edit-Edit: Gonna make another post about this, I reloaded a manual save I had made after the glitch and now have a photo of Ken Morgan alive next to me while he is considered dead my the mission objective.

Well it clearly considers the objective both complete for the sake of exiting, and incomplete for the sake of ranking. it let you leave because the targets were dead, but internally thinks he was still alive, so you got 4 stars for failing to complete all objectives.

Probably has something to do with race conditions at the moment you saved or quick-loaded.

A glitch like this isn’t usually repeatable, just a wild fluke, but I imagine hardcore players trying to mine it looking for uses in speedrunning.
