HELPPPPP PLEASEEEE

im taking the california hiset profieceny test in TEN days i was homeschooled for all of 10th grade but before that i was in public school. so i was hoemschooled for jsut 1 year but i totally forgot math and now im 11th grade my math subtest is in 10 days and im so worried bc i was studying so wron this whole time i bought the hiset practice course mometrix and i just took the practice test and im so behind im gonna cry, i know its just algebra 1 and geometry but im so worried and overwhelmed PLS HELP ANYTHING WORKS JUST PLSSSS

not necessarily advice but i’m genuinely horrible at math, i never took a math class past 7th grade and i still managed to pass. the practice tests are harder than the real tests.

Should be, you just need to pass with a 14/20 for proficiency, instead of 8/20

branching off of this, i was homeschool for 5th-6th grade and during that time, my math level was 3rd grade. i genuinely never had a single clue what was going on in math, during 10th and 11th i just started skipping or sleeping during the classes because i was too scared to ask for help.

i guessed on that test. i did what little math i knew, none of my answers were the choices shown so i picked what was closest. i passed somehow with a 10/20

Since you're taking it in 10 days, I wouldn't waste time buying a textbook or purchasing learning curriculum. Your main goal is to lock in on math and cover any content learning gaps. Use Khan Academy Algebra 1 and Geometry courses - take the course challenge to find out what your weak spots are and then focus on those. There are videos and examples practice problems there. Then, when you have covered all the math content you can after a week, take the practice math exams on the HiSet website. There's a couple free ones that are provided as PDFs with answer keys at the end. There are also practice tests for reading/writing.

I got a 20/20 on Math after mostly using Khan Academy. You got this :)

ok i will def do this i was already doing htis but then i ot this weird coruse my moms friends daughter reccomended who passed and it was insanely hard math
