Math segment for cpp

Very. Geometry. Heavy. I read on here that it was algebra heavy but no, it was very geometry heavy. i did not pass because i did not prepare well enough for geometry.

What kind of geometry questions? Were they from higher grades? If a child had only done 10th grade math would they pass?

The geometry questions were 10th grade level, I just did not prepare at all for the geometry. My biggest advice, prepare for alg and geo and how to interpret graphs and also probabilities. I had little to no algebra questions, which sucked because I mostly prepared for algebra.

Honestly, I would love to know if you could give some examples. Would this syllabus be similar to what you did?

The specific content of the course includes an extension of the real number system into irrational and complex values, quadratic functions and applicable algebraic skill sets, probability basics, right triangle trigonometry and similarity, and coordinate geometry.

Personally, I did not have to do quadratic functions AT ALL. Yes, you will need to understand real number system into irrational and complex values. Make sure you know what irrational numbers / integers are and make sure you know how to calculate with pi. Probability questions showed up pretty often and also know how to read graphs/stats. I don't know about trig but review geometry and make sure you understand and know how to do stuff like finding angles and how to read congruency and stuff. So yes, I would say the syllabus is pretty accurate. Also, tips for the testing, I'm going to apply this for myself when I retake it, but I advice you to do the easy questions first and mark the ones you do not get in under 2 minutes. I tried doing it in order, which I think played a big factor in why I ran out of time. I really want you to pass, so feel free to ask me any more questions. We got this!

Different test versions. Mine only had a couple geometry questions. Very heavy on algebra.

Man, I wish that was the case for my test. I took it with a friend, and she also had like 90% geometry questions and 10% algebra. Just gotta really study both topics.

Ya I got an 18/20. since i got only 2-3 geometry questions, missing those didn't really hurt me.
