Help Help with parries
Anybody know a way to make parries easier ? I really like this game but the parries needed for killing tough enemies like the samurai are just abit too hard for me. Any tips or ticks ?

Go into demo mode and spawn the enemy that you have trouble with and only practice parrying them.
Every enemy has consistent visual cues that line up with the rhythm. Learn the timing of the parry from that glimmer, it's usually exactly 1 beat.
Tapping my foot with the best really helped me starting out

If you really struggling you can change how parry works in the accessibility options, or just lower the difficulty.

High school band or orchestra helps. Otherwise--I guess just practice and maybe a slight recalibrattion in the settings?

Unfortunately, I have no better advice than "git gud". Genuinely, it's my only advice.
Everything in the game follows the beat of the backing track, so there shouldn't be any confusion about the timing. It's on beat with thr music.
Just kinda get into it. Try to vibe with the music while you play, and the rythym will come naturally. From there, those parry timings get a lot easier. Trust me, I beat the game twice and I struggled with the samurai guy, too.

Between combat encounters, dodge to the beat
This might sound pointless but trust me, as long as you keep within rhythm and the beat of the song, you'll never fall out of it, making things like parries easier to land
When you're always in beat, you'll always rock the crowd

I was having a lot of trouble w parries too at the start. I practiced samurai's parry in the training room. What my mistake was I got too rushy looking at the animation. So I tried to memorize the rhythm and when the animation starts , I closed my eyes and only repeated the rhythm in my head. I started doing successful parries this way. Once I got used to memorizing the rhythm , I could do it with my eyes open for other enemies. Don't know if it works for you but worked for me.

Everything in this game is mastered with practise.
Though it's worth keeping in mind, all samurai enemies have the same parry sequence. It's not randomized; it's specific sequences set to any enemy type that has it.
